"I enjoyed the carrot, yogurt, and feta cheese spread with bread. (Very garlicky) Overall, the food is okay if you are looking for a fast-service, order-and-seat-yourself dining experience. It has an open and pleasant front entrance with seating if you are meeting up with other party members. Surprisingly, its ambiance lacked much of what says “Mediterranean.” They offer a nice selection of gyros, kebabs, and falafel. Several versions of lamb are on the menu. Wine is available. Parking is available in the shared shopping center parking lot. It is easy for people with wheelchairs or strollers as there are no steps. The lamps they use for lighting are richly colored, and the one decor feature that gives tribute to the Mediterranean (or Turkish) culture. They are also for sale. I’d made a reservation but there was no need to. We were simply added to the standing line of people waiting to place an order. The staff were friendly and seemed largely to be Caucasian Chanhassen local youth. I’m not sure this fully qualifies as serving “Traditional Mediterranean meals”, but it’s a good option. Their menu seems “Americanized”. The food tastes more like they have adapted their ancestors' old recipes to make from locally sourced ingredients. There is more interior seating than first meets the eye as it wraps around towards the back. There are long tables for larger families or groups. I found them because they are active on social media outlets. Note, you can also use Uber to preorder your meal and deliver it. I do like how they have fund-raisers for worthy causes. Kid-friendliness: Families with children were present."

"I am very disappointed, so much that I had to share my experience. It?s chilly and rainy out today, so I had offered my kiddo a stop at Caribou for breakfast. Monday morning is never easy for my 10 year old. She got ready for school quickly, super excited about my offer. Fast forward, we get to Caribou and order breakfast. The cashier couldn?t get the CC machine to work. I assured her my card was not the problem, going as far as to show her my banking app. She had me step aside all the same. I had to flag someone down a few mins later. I asked if we could be helped, as it was nearing the start of school. She told me to go to the back of the line I had already waited it and she would try again. My daughter was so anxious she would be late for school. She was panicking. After we got through the line, she tried the card again but couldn?t get it to work. I had just use the card at the gas station so I was sure it was fine. I explained that we needed to get going so she wouldn?t be late for school and asked what we could do. Employees sat and stared at me like I was speaking a different language. I wasn?t I wasn?t about to send my daughter to breakfast first. And we had no time to go anywhere else. Finally someone behind me in line saved the day by offering to pay for the food and drinks the cashier begrudgingly took The payment. We thanked the woman for her amazing gesture and Proceeded to wait at the end of the line where the drinks are made. The two employees made no attempt to get started on our drinks and made all of the drinks for the customers behind us. Once all of them were gone, they handed my daughter her drink and breakfast. I stood there wondering where my coffee was. The employee had set it off to the side with no name or ticket indicating what kind of drink it was. I was looking at her and she mumbled ?yours is right there? without pointing or making eye contact whatsoever. I wasn?t even sure if she was talking to me but now we were late for school so I grabbed the drink and we left. Not only did they ruin what was supposed to be a fun and special morning, but they were going out of their way to be very rude. I?m not even sure what I did wrong and it has left me wondering even now. Caribou has always been my favorite coffee shop. I will not be returning to this Caribou. I literally have no idea what I possibly could?ve done to be treated like that. Especially with my daughter, who didn?t understand what was going on. She asked as we walked out why they were so mad at me, what have I done? I told her I had no idea .... even though we raced to school she was late, and did not get to even eat the breakfast because of that. The whole trip became pointless because of the way they handled the situation. It was completely unacceptable and they showed zero customer service skills. What?s worse is they showed zero compassion skills and it acted like they?d never wanted to see my face again. It was clearly upse"
