"Although I am all for supporting restaurants and understanding their challenges during COVID, this was just a disagreeable experience. First of all we were in the dining room by a cracked open window which was freezing cold no heat lamp? even wearing our coats. The food here has always been overpriced for the « French » label but at least there is some atmosphere and good service. But when you spend over for a basic Caesar salad, french onion soup, steakfrites steak tasted tenderized and was lukewarm, fries were good but oversalted and salmonpotatoes you expect at least a little more effort in the kitchen. As drinks we did have a glass of champagne each and then a glass of wine each the white wine tasted like water had been added our family is in the wine business and the chocolate mousse was good. I would avoid during COVID and especially the extremely cold weather...many more modest restaurants are much better equipped and adapted"

"This spot is so awesome!! We loved our brunch date here at Paradise Park! The ambiance, servers, bartenders, meals and drinks were spectacular. We truly enjoyed our experience here and highly recommend trying the Hangover Iced Coffee (MY FAVORITE),pulled pork hash and egg white tacos. The chips and salsa is so fresh and tasty. Seriously though, the donut with the icedcoffee is simply a MUST TRY!! totally worth every bite and sip!! The scenery was awesome and great spot to take some cutephotos!!"

"AMAZING. Jeong is one of the best restaurants in Chicago and that says something. The food is amazing and precise and beautiful and soul at the same time. In addition, the staff in front of the house are the warmest, most authentic people I have ever seen. They took care of our party of 5 and went beyond and beyond to make our dinner special. Everyone in our party had experienced Jeong before and yet there were still ear-foundings, although we knew that the contract was in business. Lesson: If you haven't gone to Jeong, you just have to try; If you went to Jeong, you have to go back."

"I visited yesterday, and the gentleman in front of me was extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. As someone who works in the service industry, I really appreciated his excellent service (the extra star is dedicated to him!). However, I've noticed an increasing number of reviews mentioning issues with the quality of the food. Specifically, my chicken had some purple/pink hues and, in certain spots, brown/black, which is definitely concerning when you're ordering a chicken sandwich. On a positive note, the sides were delicious, and this restaurant has a lot of potential. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is great, but my dining experience left a lot to be desired. I couldn't finish my buffalo chicken sandwich, which is disappointing because I really wanted this place to be my new go-to spot. Unfortunately, it's hard to feel confident when the quality of chicken wings seems inconsistent."

"Les Nomades is the quintessential French restaurant. Dignified but not stuffy, a staff knowledgeable and responsive without being obtrusive, personable and caring about your experience. On offer is a four- or five course prix fixe dinner, with a la carte also available. Our menu presented a limited variety of seafood main courses (three our evening) and five meat dishes. We ordered sole and loup du mer, both delicate with interesting vegetable preparations. Wonderful as these entrees were, my kudos for the evening go to fois gras in a consommé and the wild mushroom soup (it’s decidedly not “just” mushroom soup) among the many starters and a transcendent Grand Mariner soufflé, worthy of sharing, for desert. In 50 years of fine dining (some in neighborhood Paris restaurants), this is the best soufflé my wife and I have ever enjoyed. Its cuisine is quality of the first order. "I got ice cream at Jeni's this summer and I liked it, but I think I just didn't LOVE the flavor I got. This time I got the Boston cream flavor and it was to die for!!!! It was fantastically sweet and had a perfect texture. The atmosphere of this location was cute and they have good seating inside when it's too chilly to have your dessert outside.I cannot stress this enough but their cones are easily the best ice cream cones I've ever had. They're so unique."

"Had a closing/celebration dinner w/ investment partners at Cherry Circle Room last week. We had an excellent meal from start to finish. Cocktails were great. The sommelier recommended great wine to go w/ all courses. The oysters were excellent. And, the entrees were perfect all the way around the OG ribeye and the duck were amongst the favorites. Top it all of w/ a unique, stand out environment and service, plus a night cap at Cindy's Rooftop. Great night all the way around!"

"My friend and I went to Travelle to celebrate her birthday. It was her first time visiting Chicago, so I wanted to treat her to a nice meal. The food was exceptional, and the restaurant even surprised my friend with a delicious dessert for her special day. The atmosphere was lovely and very relaxing. However, we did encounter a minor issue with our server who brought us the check before we had finished our meal or requested it. It felt a bit rushed, and after we paid and left a tip, the server returned to take the check while we were still at our table. It would be great if the restaurant could address this issue with its staff. Despite this, we still enjoyed our experience and plan to return in the future."
