"I tried the place when my car broke off one day and I went back to the office. I agree with other reviewers that the dining area and the exterior have to be updated. But doing this kind of things can be expensive and if they leasing the building, it is usually not worth the cost. As for food, I had a Gyro Platter. After growing up in a very Greek area of Upstate NY, I was really surprised and happy to find that it was as if I came home earlier. I was initially disappointed that there was no Tzatziki sauce on the side, but quickly realized that there was a lot in the pita and every bite until the last was delicious. My office is close and I just always drove past the next drive-through because it looked a bit dingy. While it seemed old and dark it seemed clean, what is all I ask of the places I get food from. I found the mature Greek woman who can curse the orders a little and see why so many people consider them as rude.... but that is exactly what I would expect from a Greek woman of her figure. LOL I found it a bit amusing and authentic. If you are this person, the feelings are slightly hurt and you are looking for the robotic, happy smiling company staff behind the counter, you will not appreciate this place. If you stand up for a different than the standard experience and appreciate old fashion diner type food (which is not a high- or mid-end restaurant) then give it a go. For a place surrounded by chains of fast food restaurants, this is the real deal."

"we were here during our slumber week beginning november. worst culinary experience we had. the inn is sweet and stony. but it is an old Victorian house, so no difficult task. they can't help the neighboring, but it has expired and looks terrible. the staircase has no lighter, which is an accident waiting for it. there were minimal lights so we were not sure they were open. there is so much shredded and shredded in every corner. the wife of the owner (maybe) welcomed us and took our weights. the area is a very small room. the facility tried to emulsify victorian, but was really terrible. the camein was lit, but others were sitting there. the kamin was the only heat, since the wall units did not touch. the service was extremely slow and took very long to get only water. the 2 small bands brot we were served were bought in the food store some days before clear, not freshly baked. they were not roasted, but hardly heated. the butter was so cold that it was never melted. it was also a low quality, as it had no taste. my man got a brokkoli and cheddar soup and I got ahornbuttersockbisque. my was in order, but his taste old, reheated, and had bought warehouses, crushed cheddar cheese on him. I ordered the roasted and gargonzola, my man got the special mozzarella and tomato. my beets were paper-thin and picked, not roasted. they swim in balsamico vinegar. not terrible, but not what I expected. my man got a plate of devoured romaine, 2 small discs Roma tomatoes, and a piece of business purchased mozzarella. all sunk with balsamico. do not define what we were told and very little taste. the mozzarella was absolutely sargento, not locally or made in the house. I got the lamb and my man got the petit filet stroganoff. my bowl had the lamb, au jus, kartoffeln, a small partly steamed baby carrot/zucchini/yellow squash, and two slightly grilled (still cold) slices of zucchini and yellow squash. it was not an object sown, and the lamb had cooked it out of it. then, from any reason, there was a small sprinkle of raw cubed tomato again without taste. I honestly couldn't believe a French cook would serve this plate. the petitfilt of my man was actually only very hard bark tips. he might have had 5 small cubes. he also had late, all of them. it was old and extremely dry. it had not been freshened. this was the point in the meal, where another couple, after our teller saw, went out without order. we could hear that the dame had a argument with them when they tried to go. we planned in the desert, but could not eat fathom anymore. my man had to hunt the woman for check-in since she disappeared. he told her the problems with the meal, but her answer was that we had never complained before, she finally got the ****, we paid and got up to go. the prices were in tune with the trips in dc (where we live), but was much above the price for what we were given and for the area. After I got our moms, the lady asked me specifically what was wrong with the lamb. as I told her, the chef came out and started to argue with me. he gave me the blame for not sending her back. he said he made this lamb for over 25 years without complaining, and I would have given it back and made it to my specifications. the most important thing it needed was to season it. salt could have improved it very much. but he continued to argue. he said he tasted what I returned and found nothing wrong with it. then he said they know what is wrong with people in this country, at which point we just ran out without letting him end his insult. we cannot understand all high reviews for this place. they were the reason why we were so excited to go. there are many other much better sit-down restaurants in deep creek area. I'm only distracting from this place."
