"all about our meal was excellent, but what it really does it was possible our server jenny. we have made a reservation online and sat right away. jenny let us know when it would take for pizza, so we knew what to expect. (although it came out faster than expected) I had a pizza on gluten-free crust and it was one of the better GF versions I had. I also have an allergy to paprika and jenny was very diligent to ensure that my order was correct."

"Lovely staff and great service, but our meal was only so-so. My partner strongly felt that what was billed as fried halibut was actually cod, and fries were cold. My meal (baked halibut) was much better, but my main complaint is that I could hardly see the beautiful view of the mountains because the restaurant’s large picture windows were filthy."

"Really good fish and chips. Husband had the Yak Quesidilla. Pretty good. Not much difference in taste as a burger. Grandson had the cedar salmon. He liked everything, but the glaze cut it off. We're from the south, so the prices were a shock. $87 for lunch, including tip. No alcohol, 3 people. Super nice waiting staff and friendly locals."

"This place is great! We had breakfast twice, and both times it was excellent. Coffee is wonderful, claimed to be locally roasted (not sure whether it is there or anchorage), all variations you can think but my straight black was perfect. Good food for breakfast, homemade cookies were fantastic, and the bacon some of the best I had. It was very busy both days, but the staff was upset, efficient and friendly. Immersed, but a great view of Healy Mtn. on the deck. Very recommended!"

"We wanted a quieter atmosphere in our second night in Healy, so our hotel manager recommended this place. We have to share the antipasto plate and were both excited to finally see some fresh fruit!! It was a good mix of things (although I wish they had more toast points). My favorites were Prosciutto and Olives. My duck was the shrimp linguins that was absolutelyley delicious. The sauce was fresh and creamy, well paired with tomatoes/spindle. The shrimps were large and delicate. The staff is also super friendly. Very recommended!"

"eating was very good. Fish-Chowder was very good and a portion great enough to be a meal, not a starter. we have been looking for a lighter dinner, so if they are looking for smaller portions and cheaper trips, this may not be the restaurant for them."

"My sister and I had the most amazing experience in Canyon Steakhouse. Elizabeth was our server and she was so courteous and professional and gave service as you would get in every five-star restaurant. The food was the best I had everywhere. And I had the opportunity to do some travel and sampling. Thank you Elizabeth for such a wonderful and pleasant experience. Two sisters go there and do that"
