"We had a little difficulty locating this hotel in the narrow back streets of Diessen. Parking looked to be a problem, but the manager allowed us to park in a private car park nearby. Check-in was excellent, with a handshake welcome from the owner. The room which we were allocated was meant to exude so-called Bavarian Comfort, but it was badly in need of updating and certainly not worth the price paid. The wooden construction which separated the beds from the rest of the room was a waste of good space.. The bathroom was small, with no room to put soap and toiletries. There was a balcony and mini-bar, however, and the hotel was very clean with a friendly, helpful owner. The food in the hotel restaurant was exceptionally good and cooked to order. The creamy soups were especially tasty and were a definite highlight."
