"I have been here twice and the food is A+ I read some of the negative reviews and haven?t had the experiences they are describing. We order a few types of tacos and split them up and make quesadillas the next day with left overs because there is so much food. It?s well seasoned and authentic. I lived and travelled extensively in Mexico, have had Guatemalan roommates and travelled in El Salvador I know what this food is supposed to taste like. I always order extra salsa verde and the horchata is pretty good not the best but worth it to enjoy with the tacos. The pictures are from our house and we have way more rice and beans in the side orders then pictured."

"my rating of 3 is motivated by the fact that various menu items we wanted that the night we visited were not available. we literally drove and chose the restaurant based on the menu selection and was disappointed if they don't have much. call them beforehand and check the desired items. also being short staff, eating took some time, but before we stopped, it was found that it was a risk that we decided. when we were out of town after a hard long day, we decided to just wait. unavailable menu items were not specified until we had waited and finally sat for order. fried calamari appetizer and carmelo dessert was not available. the most important two things I believed. for pepperoni pizza with light sauce. that made up of the lack of available menu points. it was delicious brick oven. I should have ordered extra pfefferoni. the taste of the pizza reminded me of Grimaldi’s. my companion, however, ordered a huh philly cheese steak that I also tasted. we both agreed that it is average. not bad, not good, just enough to satisfy intense hunger. lack of taste and perhaps the broth could be less rough and dry. the personal was professional and nice. it wasn't her fault that they were short busy and tried her best to keep customers and demand. note: it is located in the hotel holiday inn. google does not give this, so easy to know if they roll into a hotel, they are at the right place!"

"I have been working at Pizza Odyssey since 2013, and I must say that Terry was a wonderful boss. It was sad to hear that he sold the business, as he always treated me with respect and kindness. My roommate and I order from here every week, and I always go for the chicken deluxe sandwich on a pita with salad, tomatoes, and honey mustard. The meal also includes Coleslaw and a generous portion of French fries. However, since the business was sold, I have noticed that the portion of fries has been significantly reduced. Previously, you would receive a generous amount, but now it barely fits in the container. Despite this, I have no complaints about the quality of the food at Pizza Odyssey, as many items are homemade in the store. I just ask the new owner to consider bringing back the generous portion of fries to the deluxe dishes. Overall, the transition has been smooth, and Terry had loyal customers from his previous location in Pilgrim Gardens. Fixing this small issue would make me very happy. Thank you."

"I was here, twice in one week. The first time I went, with my girlfriend, the bartender was nice. She served a great mixed drink, and the beer selection was ok. I was impressed by the food menu, and wanted us to come back to eat on Saturday night. There was a different bartender on Saturday night, when we came back. That mattered, because both my girlfriend and I were NOT happy with the bartender on Saturday night. When we asked for a food and drink menu, she only gave a food menu to my girlfriend. And NO mixed drink and beer menu to either of us! I thought maybe she forgot, because the place was busy. But she kept getting food and drink orders to other customers, faster than she got them to us. When I paid the tab, I asked for just $5 back. I still tipped her 15% of our bill, in spite of her bad service. She wasn't being stiffed. She acted like she didn't hear me, going to all other customers, besides us. She only gave me the $5 back after my girlfriend shouted above the noise that I was still waiting for my change. Both I and my girlfriend sensed her just not liking us. We've seen busy servers before. This server was being passive/aggressive toward us. If we ever go back to DeMarco's, it will not be on a Saturday night."

"A great local bar friendly service and friendly patrons served with bar drinks. You have several dart boards and connecting a game was easy and fast. Smoking is allowed! So I could enjoy my pipe while I was throwing darts. I hear the food is good, but none. This is a 5 star local bar (it is not rated against the entire range of bars)."

One item took 40 minutes, which they then thought it was funny. The old woman in the front ignored me entirely for the first 5 minutes I got there, and as I tried to ask how long she ignored me again until I had to yell “hello?” and she said a few minutes which ended up being 10. Absolutely will never returnEdit: if you want to try to distort and lie atleast own up to what happened. I arrived at 5:04 at the pickup time. I have the screenshots from the customer as well.I left at 5:18. I stood there while a man in classes cooked, a young man walked around and the older woman bagged items. I waited until she finished and she walked away. I went to the microphone and said excuse me and she never responded, she came back 5 minutes later. Between that time you dispatched your delivery driver who was also waiting AFTER i had arrived. There was another woman there that waited equally as long to be acknowledged. The customer said he ordered his food at 4:42 pm. If you’re going to ignore people don’t be shocked when they aren’t friendly when YOUR customer service isn’t up to par. Even after waiting 10 minutes, I asked how long and was told again, a few minutes and it was another 10 minutes. You assumed because I wasn’t the “patron” that you couldn’t be reviewed. When you’re purposefully ignoring someone in your establishment and then laughing, don’t be shocked that the review is not in your favor. Work on your customer service because it was uninviting, rude, condescending and unprofessional. I see why your reviews sit at a 3.8."

"Update: In the 6 months since my last review, I have been with Tank and Libby many times and bring friends from the city here whenever someone visits. The food is consistently delicious. The pancakes and the Smokey Bennie are my faves, but I also love the fresh juices! Today they had a blueberry Boba limonade that was for dying. I also enjoy the service, Tricia was assigned to me a few times and I always appreciate her positive energy and warmth. I will continue to come back to this place and if you ever go and wait, it is worth staying! Original review: Was not sure what to expect here, but I ordered takeout and was pleasantly surprised! The smoked salmon Benedict was amazing. The potatoes were also cooked well. The whole meal was the victory and I will be back very soon!"

"My husband and I LOVE ordering from here. I like their different selection of combo plates, and we love how they give you the option of wonton soup as a side, instead of an egg roll. Everything weve tried has been good so far. He always gets the DC17. General Tsos Chicken Dinner Combination, and the Boneless Sparerib Combo is my fav so far. The portions are great, and big enough so that I can eat it for dinner AND eat the leftovers for lunch the next day. Great value!"

"I and my daughter went to breakfast. I ordered French toast turkey sausage and cheese egg. She ordered blueberry pancakes turkey sausage and domestic frits. They gave their eggs that they had not ordered and charged for the cheese they put on them. We shared strawberry and cream cheese warriors. I asked my French toast without powder sugar, the waitress thought I didn't mean cinnamon either. She gave us our food and our bill at the same time. What she had to change because we ordered extra drinks. I felt very fast when she asked if I didn't even want a box halfway through our meal. The food was edible. My coffee was room temperature. I had to ask for sugar because it was not provided with napkins, because it only wrapped us around the bedding. I just felt very hurried."

"UPDATE: New owner/cook. It was just there once and they were only open for 3 weeks, but it wasn't the same experience. GF liked the basil lovers, but I thought it was blunt. The eaten rice was fine, but quite generic. The Vermicelli salad was fresh and delicious. Somehow they were made of rice and we had to wait for the food for almost half an hour. They gave us some dumps on the house while we waited, but still. And these three things were $44.xx. The food is always brilliant. In particular, I usually do not order pad Thai because it is usually just a sticky bunch of peanut butter and sadness, but her pad Thai is fantastic. I will give them this fifth star if they are consistently open."

"TL;DR: A wonderful night out with delicious food and attentive folks. Food: Great. Appetizers: Scripelle Soup crepes with Parmesan in chicken broth. After a bit it reminded me of long matzo but with cheese. Eggplant Parmesan best dish we had. Lightly breaded, provolone, red sauce that was slightly thicker than the one to follow with my pasta. My wife raved about this when I mentioned Anthony's this week. Entrees: Gnocchi Calabro served with shrimp, chicken, spinach, sun dried tomatoes in a cream sauce. Tasty even the day after. Gnocchi with Anthony's Gravy served with red sauce and homemade meatballs. I made two more meals of this. Sides: Bread, butter, peppers in oil. Desert: Cannoli. Large, with drizzled chocolate and cream. Yum. Service: Taken care of well by Kayla, our server. Had a great conversation with Pat, who checked up on us during our meal. Noise level: Quiet. We sat on the dining room side. There is a bar side too. Parking/Transit: Drexeline Shopping Center, back section. Next to the SEPTA 101 trolley stop for Drexeline. Very convenient. Great to see a local place serving consistent food doing well, with terrific service. We'll be back."
