"This was our first visit to Me Julio 's, hard to believe that we found it on a whim to hear from a local radio station that practiced the food and team of Me Julio 's, so we took the time to drive and see what the whole thing is that we are glad that we did. Me Julio 's is located on Fish Hatchery Rd this was previously the home of Tomas Ballesta 's L 'Escargot and La Paella. Me Julio 's is the current reincarnation of this stalwart restaurant location, led by Mike Shaul. Mike took time to visit our table and talk about his personal journey as a restorer and introduce us to his diverse Tex Mex style menu and the charming decor they created in the room. Lunch was spectacular she tried the shrimp enchiladas and I tried the brisket sandwich. We started with some deep fried Dill Pickles perfect size pickle chips and fresh made ranch diving sauce. She loved the Enchiladas and announced the roasted beans, the best ever. The brisket was perfectly presented on a Ciabatta beer with crispy Cole Slav. I also have the Boracho Beans Black beans brewed in carrots and onions delicious taste. Of course we have the 1/2-price margarita 's special tasty for Tuesday...oh, and almost forgotten, one of their signature offers a freshly plastered bowl popcorn was immediately brought to our table by our friendly server, Freedom as soon as we are greeted and sitting by our hostess Melinda. Kudo 's to everyone at Me Julio 's for the friendly service and delicious food and make our first visit fun welcoming we are looking forward to our next visit perhaps a Wednesday to enjoy the Blue Gill dinner. Give me Julio a try, I know you'll enjoy your visit."

"It was a Saturday night and we were at a loss for where to eat in Madison. Last minute find and last minute reservation resulted in a great meal. Our server was so attentive and very accommodating. She even read the note I have on Open Table about my son’s fish allergy. I was very impressed. My family ordered the duck entree, short rib and white fish. All were very excellently prepared. The muffins they serve instead of the complimentary bread were to die for. I asked for the remaining muffins to be packed to go. When I walked out of the restaurant without them, the server came after me with the muffins in hand. Wonderful place and excellent server!"

"The chicken strips were cold, tough, and dry, the fries were also cold and tough, and the pretzel sticks were the worst I've ever had. They were cold, stale, and looked like someone had sat on them. I usually try to be understanding with delivery, but this meal was just terrible. It was so bad that I couldn't eat more than a few bites. The only saving grace was that my malt wasn't melted."

"We have loved Taco Bell in the past but after moving here to Wisconsin have yet to have a good experience. We have never gotten an order that was correct, always something missing or incorrect. When we?ve tried to go back a missing item they refused togive it and instead gave us ?free taco? coupons (even with a receipt) Tonight we waited in line to even get to the speaker forordering for 20 minutes, only to be told there is a 20 minute wait for EACH ORDER being placed (there was 3 cars in front ofus), so we would need to wait over an hour to get our order. We were trapped in the line, and could not exit due to people beingin front and behind of us. Mind you this is dinner time with a 2 year old and 5 year old in the car slowly losing it becausethey are so hungry! We were able to get out of the car and ask the people in front of us if they could move so we could leave.We asked the employees if they could send someone outside to let others waiting in line know that the wait is so long and theysaid no they could not do that. Just disappointing customer service, disregard for the way customers are treated. Waited atotal of 60 minutes before we were able to leave with no food. If you don?t have enough employees to meet the needs of yourrestaurant, close the drive through and do dine in only. Or close the dine in and do drive through only."
