"chillis is my favorite restaurant. great environment and i love the food. however i applied for a job there as a hostess because i was so excited to work in my favorite restaurant and talk to people. my first 2 training days had gotten messed up and rescheduled which is no one’s fault. my third training day which took place as number 1 went well except they had me working hours after my shift. at first i had told them i couldn’t work on weekends because of my jazz band schedule and they told me i could change my schedule for just the weekdays. then they sent me an e-mail saying my schedule doesn’t fit them and they require every employee to work two days of the weekend. which they failed to tell me and in fact lied to me about after saying i could change my schedule for no weekends. i tried to see if i could just work lunch hour and called the restaurant which i got placed on a call with the general manager and she was very rude with me, called my extra curricular activities “my ****” and very rudely hung up the phone on me when i asked about working lunch hours on weekends. they have lied to me and failed to tell me important factors about working there that they purposely left out. however this isn’t the first time she has done this. at first when my training days got messed up, i had called to see if i could reschedule and again that manager picked up the phone, rushed our call, had a nasty tone with me, and once again rudely hung up the phone the middle of my sentence with a simple “im busy now. bye!” and ending the call. they never even reached out to me to ask about rescheduling or working things out. they left it pretty much all up to me to reach out and then this manager would be nasty and act mad when i would. even though she wasn’t even doing her job to help me when she’s the one who knows what she’s doing, not me. not just the rude manager but also from my 1 work day and hearing others story, they don’t even cut the employees at the time they see supposed to. meaning they were working at least an hour or two overtime without even getting paid for it. they got paid for 4 hour shifts when they were working about 5-6 hour shifts. completely ridiculous and glad i quit before they could ruin the whole resturaunt for me as a whole. sorry. all i can say is it’s a cute restaurant and the employees (waiters and waitresses and hostess are nice and 2 other managers i met. not the one i’m talking about particularly). would not recommend working there. sorry to say this because i so love it there to eat just not to work."

"Normally their shakes are great, but they aren’t as great with styrofoam in them. They broke the cup and placed it into a second cup, leaving the broken cup with styrofoam hanging off inside. I took a big scoop and ended up getting styrofoam with the ice cream. Now I have a shake that I can’t drink. I understand they tried to use a second cup to prevent leaking, but when there is a piece hanging off, just toss the broken cup."

"5 of us visited this restaurant soon after it opened, and all of our plates were completely clean at the end of the meal. Delicious food, great service, and it's a BYOB. The owner came out during our meal to meet us; he's a really kind guy. I look forward to supporting this business again and I hope others do as well!"

"One of my favorite places in Flemington for a nice meal. The mozzarella and eggplant appetizers are fantastic. The gnocchi is a hit as is the veal saltimbocca. Chicken dolce is also one of my favorites. The service is always top notch and you never feel rushed. "Excellent service and very tasty food. We ordered pasta for the adults and chicken/sliders for the kids and we really enjoyed lunch there. Only complain is that I wish there was a fan/larger umbrellas, as it was a very hot sunny/hot day and we had to jam on one side of the table to hide from the sun. We will be coming back, though."

"I have been a loyal patron of this establishment for many years, and I am thrilled that they have reopened this spring. The ambience is delightful, with mismatched china teacups and saucers adding a whimsical charm. The tea selection is excellent, with options such as black, green, and herbal teas. I recently tried the Regal Raspberry Rooibos and found it to be delicious. The menu offers several salad options that can be made vegan by omitting the cheese and verifying the dressing. They also frequently offer a vegan soup of the day, which I have found to be excellent (just be sure to request no cheese crackers). During my last visit, I thoroughly enjoyed the gluten-free/vegan mulligatawny soup. While they do have outdoor seating, the interior is equally charming and worth exploring. I recommend calling ahead to inquire about the vegan options available."

"I go to Matt's Red Rooster Grill once a year when my friend and I visit Flemington for our annual girls weekend. The food is always excellent. The service is, as well. Matt is always there and welcomes people. Yesterday we thoroughly enjoyed our favorite mushroom soup. We shared the grilled romaine salad as well as a veal chop and crab cakes. Because we had not yet eaten enough, (ha! we shared a bread pudding. Each and every part of our meal was well prepared and incredibly delicious. We decided that next ear we will go both Friday and Saturday night instead of just one night. We can't get enough of Matt's. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant."

"Love chick fil a! Growing up in the south we had it all the time. Moved up north and until a few years ago they didn't have any. "I was searching my local area for a custom birthday cake for my wife and had no luck during this pandemic. Upon searching google I found Grateful Bites. I decided on the Bananas Foster Cake which looked fantastic. I reached out to GB to see if they could make it for her birthday through their limited schedule. With a quick response they politely said yes! I picked up the cake and it looked EXACTLY like the picture, it was fresh and was absolutely delicious! She was very happy with her cake and it made my wife's birthday that much more special. Please read their website pertaining to their focus and freshness of ingredients. "Last minute find and did not disappoint! The food I had soul tacos with a side of blackened shrimp with some pineapple mango salsa OMG!!! DELISH!!! "What a disaster! The waiter used her finger to serve us soup, and then pressured us to take our food to go 10 minutes before closing time. We felt rushed and asked for a food box, which she handed to us with her bare hand while counting money. As we were leaving, we overheard her complaining to the cashier about us being there past closing time. We were only waiting for the bill, which she had on her apron. The cashier, despite being experienced, was not friendly and seemed to prioritize other customers over us. We arrived at 8:05 PM and by closing time at 9:00 PM, they had lost two customers and a potential positive review."

"Coolest, best McDonald's I was to, and like most I was to dozens. They have a whole range of comfortable seating options, including stools, chairs and stands, most of which are padded. There are flat screen TVs scattered, with sporting events. In addition, they now do Panera-style table service: no longer stand there laboriously waiting for food. Free Wifi, and even though they removed the game area they kids game kiosks. My children had an explosion and didn't want to leave. The original McDonalds had some really cool old paraphernalia I had seen nowhere else. I wonder what they did with it."
