"As David Chang has noted, you wouldn?t expect such bomb food in a bowling alley, but lo and behold, Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop exists. Came here on a Monday evening with two other friends around 6:30pm and the parking lot was already full. There is street parking available. The restaurant is unassuming but the food is delicious and portions are generous. Credit cards are accepted. You order at the counter first and then sit down. Indoor dining only. Takeout is also available. I got the Hawaiian Royal, which everyone seems to get for their first visit. It?s on the sweeter side (which is good for me) and very filling I had a very hearty lunch the next day. My friends got the loco moco and garlic chicken respectively, and both liked their food a lot. The garlic chicken in particular has good flavor and comes with rice, mac salad, and broccoli. The employees were nice and everyone eating there seemed to be a local. Overall, it?s got hole in the wall vibes, but you won?t regret coming here."

"Went with my co-workers for lunch and from the start it was bad. I believe it was the owner who asked us to step outside for takeout because there was a person in front of us, then forgot about us to take the order. Which was a red flag but brushed it off and ordered anyway. Then my coworker noticed he overcharged, and said it was the system. He then asked to talk to her and told her the price changed a few months ago but expected her to accept the change when he was the one who gave us the previous menu with the old price. Which then gave her and my other coworker the difference. So, I then checked my receipt, and I saw I was overcharged as well. That's when he got worse with his attitude, telling me if I wanted my money back and the price was different. I was never aggressive towards him and did not like that I was going to be deceived by the overcharge. He was getting in a temper tantrum and my coworker stepped in and said that is not ok. We stepped outside afterward to wait for our food, which he mentioned was a 15-minute wait. During the waiting time, he started yelling in the restaurant, which I know had to do with us. We waited longer than 15 minutes, and my coworker went inside, and our food was sitting at the entrance area. He started getting angry because she was telling him to accept responsibility and to be more respectful toward customers, then started putting his hand on her face, saying ok go. What we should've done is left and got a refund, which we all immediately regretted not doing. For the pricing and food we received, it is not worth it. Service was terrible, and the price deceived the customers, how many more have been deceived and never noticed, please check your receipts and menu prices. I do not recommend going to this establishment, the food was not bad, but for the price, you are better off going to another restaurant."

"This shin shen gumi is by far the best location!! Highly recommend if you are in the Torrance/Gardena area, drop by this location! The yakitori here is always fresh and delicious. Some of my favorite skewers include: the sausages, chicken skin, chicken gizzard, chicken heart, chicken liver, pork belly, marble Kobe style beef, beef tongue, and the shiitake mushrooms. If you're here for dinner, get the grilled plain rice ball. It has the best fragrant taste and such a nice Crisp. Goes well with the skewers. It doesn't get pretty packed here so expect a wait during dinner time and over the weekend. The inside is pretty loud but feels very cozy. The chefs are grilling in front of a bar so you can opt to sit at the bar and watch."

"Great tonkatsu ramen with a dial in noodle firmness and lots of delicious add ons to your broth and noodle bowl, to keep you coming back for new combinations. A real authentic Japanese dining experience. Staff is efficient and service is quick, making this stop idea for lunch."

"I brought my kids here since my oldest has been begging for Soba noodles. This restaurant popped up in my searches so I took a risk (since I don't typically go to places that haven't been recommended by friends/family) and we loved it! Service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. We got the Gyoza (pork dumplings) appetizer and for main course, I got the Grilled BBQ Beef Set, and my kids got the Chahan (Fried Rice)[not pictured], Zaru Soba, and Salmon Set. They all loved their dishes. We will definitely come back in the future."

"We ordered two bowls of Vermicelli noodles, one with tofu and vegetables, and one with a mix of five different meats, as well as a platter of spring rolls. The veggie bowl was mostly bean sprouts and noodles, with a few pieces of cucumber and carrot. The meat bowl was similar in composition but with different meats. The flavor was average. The spring rolls were poorly filled and wrapped, and were falling apart. The peanut sauce was not tasty. Overall, the meal was not worth the price of nearly $70."

"The food is amazing! I definitely love coming here to get some good chicken when we haven’t cooked anything at home. A HUGE bonus though are the staff who are always courteous and welcoming. Def grab a paleta to finish off your meal!"

"Their Kao Soi was pretty good, but not as authentic of a flavor as I've had. The taste was pretty sweet, reminded me of HK style curry. The Boat Noodle unfortunately was pretty disappointing, and lacking garlic. I really wanted to like it but the flavor and depth were just not there. i added a lot of chili (and a sauce that mightve been fish sauce with chili? to make the taste more exciting. Wish there couldve been garlic to add instead of only different versions of chili as options. Their coconut water was pricey at I think $7 but very refreshing, and it at least had real coconut meat in it so it seemed a little more worth the cost. Egg omelette with crab was on point, although definitely costly for the ingredients. I was not expecting it to come with rice (thought it would be more like a small side dish but it was good. Presentation was great, and service was awesome the ladies who work there are extremely nice, hence keeping the stars at a 3. Would have loved to give more, since the reviews looked promising."

"Small tasty restaurant full of taste. Friendly service. Great prices! Great food! We had Miso soup that was on point: not salty as most places - was perfect. I had hot noodles the Kitsune Udon side of spicy tuna, edamame my daughter had 2 orders of spicy scallop and fresh water oil hot green tea was also very good. Will return for more. Even my 19-month grandbaby enjoyed the udon noodles. Thanks Sushi Island!"

"I love their kalua pork from here! They also give pretty big portion sizes in person compared to when ordering to go. I'd also recommend their fried chicken, but id skip on the kalbi. The meat slices are super thin not worth it for the price point. Overall, Ladybug is great! The workers are all friendly personable."

"I used to come here before and it got really bad. The service and food was terrible so I stop coming but last weekend decided to visit since they are open till 3 or 4am in the morning. They used to be 24 hrs before. The food quality has been updated and was actually pretty good. Also, the service has improved dramatically since the last time I've been here. I feel like either the owners changed or there is a new manager, whatever the case I will be back for some late night snack."

"The best Chinese Chicken Salad and Beef Teriyaki. Super easy to make a phone order and is usually ready within 10/15 mins. The staff is always friendly, and my order is always correct. I could eat the salad literally every day. It's such a basic salad, but it's so darn delicious! Whenever I have an event, I always get the salad catered. I'm always able to find parking with no problem. Anyways, I recommend checking them out and giving them a try!"

"So, I had heard good things about 'the BBQ truck ' that posts up on Atlantic Ave in Bixby Knolls (Long Beach , but never got to try it until this past weekend. There was an ample offering of meats. I went with the Brisket (yum! . Each plate came with potato salad and baked beans. The 'Pitmaster ', Damien, was welcoming got started on my order right away! (Thanks D! In no time, I was partaking in tasty, tender brisket (yum, yum! . The sauce had a lil bit of a kick and is oh, so good! The potato salad was delicious and the beans had an extra layer of flavor not your basic baked beans! Thanks to the 'Pitmaster ', I was able to sample the ribs! Let me tell you, they were TENDER seasoned so well, they didn 't need any sauce! Overall, I was super pleased with the food service! I look forward to trying other items definitely sampling dessert!! If you 're in the neighborhood, stop by and say, 'Hi! ' to the Pitmaster (Damien and get you some yummy BBQ...you won 't be disappointed!"

"This hidden gem on Western may go unnoticed by many, but it offers delicious food at reasonable prices with friendly service. I tried the chili verde burrito and it was warm and tasty, served with a delicious green sauce. The atmosphere is casual with pleasant music playing at a comfortable volume, giving it a cozy charm. The restroom is consistently clean and has a fresh scent."

"I love this place. It's a few minutes drive from my workplace, so I eat here at least once a week. The food is delicious and the service is great. You can adjust the combination plates, but it is a little extra (that should be expected). The spicy potatoes are particularly delicious with the green sauce."

"A great spot to enjoy authentic Korean food! We enjoyed the handmade noodles and the steamed pork belly. The side dishes were also really good especially the kimchi. The only issue would be that there a few fruit flies around our food during our meal which we had to fly away multiple times."

"They took our order within 10 minutes of arriving. Our food was out within 20 minutes of arriving and it was hot and delicious and fresh. I had pork scallopini with mushroom sauce and it was to die for. The salad was so fresh you can't even believe it. even the roasted potatoes you're pretty playing super delicious. My husband had spinach stuffed ravioli with meat sauce and it doesn't look like a whole lot on her plate but it was very filling. The service was awesome. I can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!"

"Not too bad. Small little boba shop in Gardena and first time being back in quite some time. Glad to see everything is still about the same and no real changes. I got the taro smoothie and it was just as good as I remember it. The staff were friendly and greeted us soon as we walked in the door. I think they could use more flavor options but otherwise taste and quality was good!"
