"07/03/22...1950s style ice cream salon. Beautiful atmosphere, courteous staff, clean toilets. Hot food is not her specialty, 4 y/o liked Mac cheese, but I didn't care about the chili dog. We split a banana gap and it was great! You can choose your flavors of ice cream, we have traditional. Weapons are homemade and smell wonderful. We'll try the waffles next time. Only proposal must have napkin holders on the tables."

"Ordered lunch from here for pickup . Had a big order so it took longer than the 15 min wait time. Only 5 extra minutes. Location is in a busy area. There is street parking and about 4-5 space in the front lot. Sophia was super friendly on the phone and in person. Felt like we were family or friends. Ordered beeg w broccoli w lo mein lunch special and an order of dumplings. Beef n brocolli as expected. I substituted rice for lo mein. The lo mein was not all that, it was plain no veggies or chicken. Wish i had ordered a small instead. To substitute lo mein was $1.75, not $1 as written on the website. The portions in comparison to other Chinese lunches was less. The dumplings were not the way I like it. Much dough, little pork. Sauce was different too. Overall decent if your in the area."

"It was quite delicious when I had traditional Thai fried rice with chicken. This was similar to the actual Thai meal I enjoyed in Thailand in the US. Additionally, I tried the ice Thai tea, and it was alright. It smells like tea and has a taste of cream and water. However, I would give this place a 5 star rating."

"Start with the food, because that it what matters. Delicious, full stop. I started with Samosa Chaat thinking it was an appetizer. And maybe it would be for 3 or 4 people but it was a generous portion for one person so I only ate about half. Textures and flavors were terrific, just the right amount of heat. I can see why this is a popular street food. I followed that with Lamb Korma and garlic naan on the side. The gravy on this one was perfect, rich and almost sweet, and probably the best naan I've ever had. Dessert was Carrot Halwa. If you've never tried it this is a must-have dessert. My only complaint? The menus could be larger. I have good eyes but still jad some difficulty reading. I was the only done-in patron but the delivery pickups were nonstop. Service was maybe slow compared to US casual dining places but well worth the wait."

"We hadn't gone to George's Pizza in a while. We decided to go back once again. We've never had a negative experience there, we were just going to other places. Well we were delightfully surprised. The food was very good. We ordered pizza, which of course is there a specialty. It came in a very reasonable amount of time with excellent service. The staff there is friendly, warm, and personable. They were attentive to to us as customers. The restaurant was very clean and neat. This is a very neighborhood type restaurant. I would really encourage people to go there and to enjoy the good food and excellent service!"

"We came here for our 5th anniversary and The Capital Grille was not disappointed. The service from start to finish was top notch. Our server, Mary, has really made the experience special and we loved it every minute. The steaks were cooked exactly as desired, and everything tasted great. Also I had mentioned in the reservation that it was an anniversary, and everyone made a point to feel special about the rose petals on the table to bring the beautiful dessert and sparkling wine. I am so happy that we chose the Capital Grille for our special occasion and we look forward to the return! Thank you for such a great experience."

"Only had the perfect fun CHRISTMAS EVE dinner at P.A.R.I.S ROOM (heated outdoor shipping container in winter) loved the whole ambience. A whole #VIBE food was amazing! "Had a great and huge slice of Italian sausage that was a quarter of a pizza, for only 4 dollars. The area is on the west Hartford, Hartford line so it was a very friendly and welcoming place for me, everyone said hello and everyone was enjoying huge slices. Very busy, lots of take out and lots of staffing to make so many pizzas. The sauce and cheese was fresh and had the signature CT pizza taste. I will have this on my list to visit any time I am around that area, glad my friend had shown me the place, thank you very much for the recommendation Ricky"

"(Last visit 7/29/2021. As a very popular and local favorite I was a few times in this place, but have never come to do a real Yelp review! Shame on me. Now it's time! atmosphere / appearance: This jewel is located in downtown Hartford on Asylum Street. It is located under the fantastic Pig 's Eye Pub and has a very casual but uplifting feeling. It is everywhere red, dark forests, high ceilings, great music and lots of space. There are 3 separate dining areas and even a place for live music. I haven't seen a show here for some time, but it's such a good time when they get a good jazz band here. Service: Daria took care of us! She was fast and made sure we had everything we needed. Food: So I tried her wings and her darkened catfish during this visit. Let's discuss the wings! The Buffalo taste was so heavenly. They tasted like they were smoked and then fried. They were so delicate, juicy and with great taste. I could have totally packed some of the other flavors and made a meal of them. Boom. For my entrée, I went for the Blackened Catfish and that's a court I wouldn't normally go for. I tried to expand my horizons and eat OTHER things next to the wings all the time. Lol. That catfish was delicious. It was beautifully salted, with incredibly rich, deep taste that just touched my soul. It was amazing. With the catfish comes cheesy geese garlicky green beans. Only the best side-dishes to complement the main. Value: So for $12.95 you get 8 wings and I think that's pretty decent. They are of good size, incredible taste and quality is just the next level. My Wels dinner was $17.95 and I think it's very good. It is a filling dinner with great flavors and I mean, what could you want more?! Finally, this place is great and there is a reason why it has been for so many years. Look at this place when you're in the area! There's so much they have to offer. "Came in for a Friday lunch with my husband. We had the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. It was delicious and tasted nice and fresh. Then we had the steak frites from the lunch menu and he had the dry aged rib eye from the dinner menu. Also had a side of Brussels sprouts. The Brussel sprouts were really good. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking. The server was attentive and friendly. A nice size crowd for a lunch and the restaurant was clean. I would definitely come back."
