"Awesome Wings, Reasonable Price, and Don 't Forget to Try a FRIED PIE!!. Several years back we were going to give Jefferson 's a try, but alas their taps were down, and we were in the mood for a pitcher of beer to go with our wings. We elected to go elsewhere (and was disappointed with our final destination, but that 's a different story). We finally made it back over to Jefferson 's and it never disappoints.<br/ <br/ My daughter ventures out and tries other things on the menu. My husband and I stick with the wings. The wings are always large and cooked properly (which sounds a little crazy, but after seeing '**** ' wings at other establishments, one begin to appreciate a properly cooked wing). I 've noticed at other wing places, the prices seem to go up, up, up, and the wing size tends to go down, down, down, down. This is not the case here. <br/ <br/ While the menu will tell you that you can split a large order into two separate flavors, it doesn 't tell you that you can mix flavors as well. Lemme just say...mixing brings on a whole new flavor concept. At a restaurant in Atlanta, I had some hot-lemon-yaki wings. They were fabulous. Since I do not live in Atlanta, it 's hard to get hot-lemon-yaki. Not so at Jefferson 's...simply ask to combine lemon-pepper with their hot-yaki. You will not be disappointed. It 's hot, it 's tangy, it 's perfection on a bone.<br/ <br/ We have also tried the double dipped wings. This is an awesome taste treat in itself. They fry the wings, dip them in hot sauce (but don 't worry, it doesn 't make it too spicy), then they drop them back in the fryer, and then will dip them in whatever sauce you like after that. YUMMO.<br/ <br/ For dessert, you have to have a fried pie. This is like the fried pies that your granny used to make, hot, fresh, now. And you have to get it with ice cream. They are cooked to order, have many different flavors (chocolate pecan, oh my), and the ice cream just rounds the whole thing out. We usually split, if we get dessert, because we are too dang full from the wings."
