"Take your money elsewhere- I would highly recommend you go to Maola's Pizzeria Restaurant in Cornelius for great pizza and amazing customer service.I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Donna today at this establishment. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years now and have empathy for all the hard workers who are consistently pleasant and feel sorry that they have to report to this sweetheart of a manager. Pizza and wings are good, but nothing special, and have now been offset by the attitude of her majesty.We placed a large order for pick up on 2/13- given it was super bowl Sunday, we wanted to provide enough advance notice so we called a day ahead for take and bake pizzas and wings. They provided no confirmation number at that time, just said to swing my for pick up the next day and that they would have our order ready. Upon arrival the establishment could not find our order anywhere and insisted we show some kind of confirmation since they couldn't find the paper order. Unfortunately due to the lack of technology they use (they write all orders on a paper slips) they could not find our order and told us we needed to provide some kind of proof. We were able to pull up a screen shot from our bank statement for the exact dollar amount and showed Donna. Instead of treating a loyal customer with respect, she tried to ask exactly what our order was so she could come up with the dollar amount we were charged, down to the penny. Unfortunately we couldn’t remember the exact number of ranches we ordered and she made us feel bad for not knowing. Instead of saying, “we are so sorry for the inconvenience of losing your order and you having to wait 40 minutes for us to figure it out”, she made us feel bad about not knowing the exact amount of ranch we ordered so that the dollar amount would match up. She had an attitude the entire time and was extremely rude. I highly suggest they invest in an updated system so they can track orders and provide confirmations. She also would have seen that she is being rude to a loyal customer of years past and would maybe have treated us with a little more humility and respect, if their system wasn't solely on paper slips like it's 1988. After we took our order home, she had the gull to call us to let us know she found our paper slip (how convenient) and that we messed up our pick up time. I mean- are you serious lady!? How convenient for you to find our order after we’ve left…hmmmmm. They had provided no pick up time the day before, there was no reason for her to be so extremely rude to us, which is the bottom line. Take your money elsewhere people… Donna could give two F’s about her loyal customers."
