"Eat quite a bit in the Low Desert many great places. This restaurant is amazingly delicious and quite authentic. A small Ma Pa-Type place, but these are the best! Friendly staff, good service, delicious Mexican food! Not too expensive, especially for decent quality. I'd definitely be back to a new regular."

"We were sitting outside. Small terrace in front of the restaurant. Host was friendly. The waiter was friendly and definitely gave us a lot of recommendations to eat .and specialties. He's asking us if we're visiting the city. He also noticed that we stayed with Worldmark from our bracelets. We tried the stuffed paprika with shrimps. It was good. We also had the combination of fajita and the fish and shrimp with rice and beans. Very delicious. The Cadillac Margaritas were delicious. We recommend going to the restaurant. Great choice. You have a happy hour menu of 3-6pm."

"Looking? Edmonton Eats in Indio, Ca THE CAFE AT SHIELDS? on youtube! We enjoyed the café in Shields. Host, server and guitarist were fantastic! All were friendly! We noticed many families eating and I loved that pets are allowed! We have the Sante fe omelet, the works omelet, Date me omelet, shields signature omelet and a filled date. It was a lot of food. We split the salad. And yes, we had leftovers!! The food was delicious and of course everything was great with appointments! We finished buying dates and date butter to get to Canada with us! The views are great! Music was great! And don't worry about the sun that sleeps on you, they have parasols! Would definitely recommend this place!!"

"I stop in this place multiple times when I 'm in town for a few days. They have a full bar and open at 7am daily. The staff is awesome and the owner is super friendly and has great banter. They have this complimentary hot brown salsa they give you when you sit down that is just mind-blowing. I 've never seen or tasted anything like it, nor have I seen it served anywhere else. Think of the traditional chips and salsa you get literally everywhere else, and it 's the complete opposite of that. Other than that, the place is clean, the parking is ample, and the food is off the charts. See you tomorrow!"

"This restaurant was delicious and happy that my brother recommended it. On arrival there are many seats inside, and when you look to the left you will find two special boards. If you look up, you will also see a huge menu. I ordered the Ortega Omelette with Hasch-Braun and Toast and added chorizo to my Omelette. First, the cashier said they couldn't do this, but then the cook said they could. I'm glad they did it when it was very delicious! My Hubby's got the Avocado-Bacon-Cheeseburger-Combo. He said the hamburger meat was quite delicious and the ranch was nice to go with it. However, his frits were hardly warm and dark and colors and did not taste very good. Later we noticed that customers were getting pommes next to us and they were brightly colored and looked fresh. A little disappointed about the Pommes, but my Omelette was delicious. The Hash Browns were the perfect blend of roasted top and soft inside. Very delicious. We will definitely try the other food here again. The place is clean and in good condition. Definitely recommend trying."

"Miguel is amazing! We are regulars at this restaurant 3-4 times a month, but we had never met Miguel before. He was extremely attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and that we were satisfied with our meal. While we were watching Monday night football, he even invited us to stay as long as we wanted, making us feel right at home. Thank you so much, Miguel! We hope to see you again next time. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent, receiving a perfect score of 5."

Today my husband went to pick up a doordash order from here and him and another customer saw and witnessed a employee that decided that it was okay to scratch herself inappropriately and not wash her hands after and proceeded to mess with food!!! "Love the food at this restaurant. It offers a wonderful variety of good old comfort food to more modern cuisine like Ahi and Poke. The service on the other hand is HORRIBLE! The hostess was super and sat us immediately. Then the wait began, which is the norm rather than the exception for this place.....for our drinks, an hour, and the dry martini my friend ordered was undrinkable because it contained Vermouth. The waitress took it back and the bartender said it didn’t have any Vermouth in it so she brought the same one back! Wait a minute, if the customer says it tastes like it has vermouth in it, MAKE A NEW DRINK, DONT BRING IT BACK! Then the appetizer, another minutes, then the dinner, another minutes. The waitress was young with minimal CS skill so she was pretty hopeless! I love their “legs” appetizer and their Bangers and Mash is just yummy! Yes we’ll go back because of those two dishes and others, but PLEASE, IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE"

"The family-style chicken dinner was great. A curative dish of the great tasting pan roasted chicken that never ends, and you get to take the extra house. "You have 2 bathrooms, probably used to be male/female, now they just say All Genders, that 's fine. Both bathrooms have combination locks, that makes sense if you 've had problems with vagrants destroying your bathrooms. What isn 't okay is that yourefuse to allow guests to use both bathrooms because one of them is employee only . You also pretending to not know Englishwhen we first asked for the door code but then it was fine once we said we 'd order our food first. Garbage place with garbageworkers.
