"As a loyal customer of Tamarind for 4+ years, I am NEVER going back! I had a pick up order, when I arrived, the woman owner said to me: I know it 's a pickup order, but most people pay tip, you didn 't pay tip this time, so tip next time. That offended me as a customer. First of all, in a pickup order, I received NO service from waiters, so why should I pay tip? Tip to whom? Even if other customers left tip, that 's not a valid reason for me to pay for the ZERO service I received. I am in no legal or moral or social obligation to pay tip. Second, the fact that I was straight up demanded to pay tip by this woman is outrageous and super offensive. Finally, on top of that freaking attitude, they messed up my order, they forgot to give me my drink, and they gave me the wrong dish. Just absolutely diabolical."

"Visited Ithaca with my parents and my daughter for a day and planned to have dinner at Maru Ramen. We arrived after 6pm and got a table for four. Our order was taken immediately and the food arrived quickly. We started with hirata buns with pork, a steamed bun with perfectly tender slices of pork. This was followed with the beef dumplings, edamame, seaweed salad, and vegetable tempura (crispy and light shredded veggies). My stepfather got the avocado bibimbop, mom got the Hangover ramen (spicy broth with pork), daughter got the miso broth with pork, and I got the tonkotsu ramen. The noodles are fresh, pork sliced thin and tender, and the broths were perfect (not salty and flavorful) even on a sunny day.Clean place, wonderful quick service, delicious food and great selective beverage menu. Worth the visit.Vegetarian options: Ample options for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Portions are filling and big. Request a smaller bowl or plate to portion food for younger kids."

"There was at least one more vegan app and main course on the website menu as what the actual menu offered, and no vegan amuse boulevard ever offered (our omnivores got a huge record of Pao de Queijo and nothing for us) but service and quality were very good and delicious cocktails- just disappointed there were no more possibilities for us to enjoy the fantasies of the cook. My advice is to call forward!"

"1st time customer, night of Sept. 28, 2022, 830pm-ish order# 123 . I bought Cheesy Chicken Loaded Nachos(Waffle Fries) and Loaded Tender Sandwich for myself and my wife got wings. Ordered online and picked-up, in the future I 'll arrive for the pick-up 15 or so minutes later than scheduled. It 's a popular place and had 4 other pick-up order folks ahead of me. There was one dude working, didn 't catch his name, he was awesome; courteous, hard working, and apologetic for himbeing the only. I completely understood, it happens. I could tell he was in a good mood and I didn 't want break is groove by being impatient. It appeared he enjoys working there, which is odd for folks working in food service. Pleasegive that dude a cash money bonus of some sort. I was not disappointed in the food that I was given. While eating, my wife said, Wow! These are really good wings. For myself I really liked the loaded nachos(waffle fries) and the 2 loadedtender sandwiches. They were the same price as the nachos but felt I got more bang for my buck with the nachos . I 'll be increasing the spicyness next time, tested the waters with the one and 2 pepper sauces. Thank you very much, we 'llbe back."

"Excellent food. Friendly staff. The prices I found online were from the date that was disappointing; I spent about double what I expected based on this menu, but it was worth the money. I enjoy the food being cooked by a place that is visible during the diner and there are smart signs that are posted everywhere to give it a non-too-serious atmosphere. I'd eat again. The only thing I have to say about it is that there are only two employees: the cook and a waitress. This turned out not to be a problem for me, but I can imagine that if it gets a little more business, that the small staff is not always able to maintain perfect. I stress once again that this was not a problem, but only a worry that it could be possible. I was originally straight through this city on a one-way bike tour without destination and decided to establish myself here. I spent about half an hour talking to the cook about it, and he offered me much kind advice and anecdotes about the city."

"My boyfriend and I stopped here on a whim looking for something good to eat. We were immediately seated by the host who was super welcoming, and greeted by the rest of the staff. The food was amazing, we started with broiled oysters and crab corn chowder (Both a must-have). The meals were also amazing and the gravy was out of this world. Our sweet waitress was very attentive and the service was impressive. We’ll be back for sure."

"Highly recommend the Pizza joint. Pesto pizza was outstanding. We order well done pesto pizza with jalapeños, onions and green pepper. Spicy delight. Veggie pizza was yummy too. We substituted mushrooms with pineapple. This mom and pop pizza place is something worth trying and it's value for money and time. In the end my tummy was happy. The helpers here are very friendly and accommodating. We are vegetarian family and we had no hard time explaining them anything. They really knew what we were talking and asking for."

"The thing that really makes Dolce Delight stand out is the passion that Maria and her team put into everything they create. You can taste it in every delicious bite. This restaurant is something special - it's family-owned and radiates warmth. I graduated from Ithaca College back in 2013, and I was completely hooked on Dolce Delight's breakfast sandwiches back then. Now, living and working in NYC where there are plenty of breakfast sandwich options, I thought I had seen it all. But this week, while visiting Ithaca again, I had the pleasure of reconnecting with Maria and her amazing team multiple times, and I just couldn't get enough! The bakery section of the restaurant is a delight for the senses, filled with a wide variety of treats from muffins to pastries to homemade pop-tarts. The breakfast and lunch choices are gourmet, innovative, and extensive, making it a real culinary treat. Even during their busiest times, Maria's team operates smoothly, and the option to pre-order on their website makes enjoying their delicious food even easier. They've even added plenty of outdoor seating, which is fantastic. If I had the chance and lived nearby, I would be first in line to try their catering services! In my opinion, this is not only the best spot for breakfast and lunch in Ithaca, but in the entire Finger Lakes region. Dolce Delight is a hidden gem, and I can't wait to come back for more!"

"Great home cooking spot off the highway a spell outside Ithaca. The folks were super friendly and excellent service. Our meals were great and tasted like Grandma made them. Chicken pot pie for me and chili with a chicken fajita salad. Our meals came with a cookie on the way out and a salad. "While traveling north on Michigan 127, we spotted a restaurant sign and decided to stop in. We're glad we did! The food was delicious and our waitress, Phyllis, was friendly and efficient. We ordered the chicken pot pie with a side salad and a chicken salad sandwich, both of which were generously sized and beautifully presented. The best part? The food was incredible and far surpassed any average fast food fare. The restaurant even has a bakery with a great selection of cakes, pies, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. Thank you to the cooks, waitstaff, and management for providing such fantastic service and food. My stomach is grateful for paying attention to those highway signs!"

"Delivery order. But DoorDash driver Helen H has never really set foot on our property. I called a refund and they claimed they couldn't. All they could do was write my name and give me a?free pizza when I arrive in the next 2-3 days. It's not a free pizza. That's the pizza I already bought and paid. I called the little Caesar aid line that was closed. Then tried to contact DoorDash for help. They were no help. Note that this company has no possibility to correct the bad service by its contractually agreed delivery drivers, nor have they an ounce of customer service"

"Fantastic Mexican restaurant. We went in and we sat right away, waitress immediately greeted us and helped us find out what was on the menu as it was our first time. Chips and salsa were really good, and we couldn't finish our first basket before our food was released, it was very fast. I had the Burrito Santa Fe and my wife had the street tacos. Both have far exceeded our expectations. The waitress was very attentive and asked how we often did it and our drinks were never empty for more than 15 seconds. By far the most positive experience I had in a restaurant in a long time. I definitely come back."

"Nice, casual vibe. Excellent service by our waiter but the bar was slow. The food was very attractive but lacked flavor and differed from the description in the menu. The special was a squid stuffed with chorizo but was stuffed with coarse chorizo hash. The pork belly was over cooked. The shrimp were not blackened as described. Was looking for an eclectic farm to table but won’t hurry back. I don’t normally write mediocre reviews but wanted others to be able to make an informed decision."
