"First of all, the employees never washed their hands and were eating and then serving our food at r the same time. The food is mediocre at best and they did not have any sauces to compliment our food. Finally, when we went to go and pay for the food we decided to leave no tip and one of the ladies tried to start a fight with us and insulted us. Overall, this restaurant is horrible. DO NOT EAT HERE. Vegetarian options: Almost no vegetarian options. Parking: Barely any parking and it is cramped. Kid-friendliness: Horrible."

"I cannot praise this place this enough!!My partner and I came here to try it out as we’ve passed it several times in our normal commutes and WOW!!We loved this place so much that we had to come back a few days later for more.Our first date we had chicken ramen, 3 sushi rolls (Philadelphia, spicy tuna, and super duper roll), a beer, a glass of (amazing) plum wine, steamed gyoza, and complimentary edamame, 2 spring rolls, and 2 cheesecake squares. All of that for about $62 pre-tip!! That price for all of that food is unheard of in 2023. If you want this quality and dimension of taste in food anywhere else, you’ll easily pay double than you will ever pay at YamaChen’s.Additionally, the service is phenomenal. The young lady that served us was so considerate and even brought over a little bowl for me to try my boyfriends ramen.Our second date (first few pictures) we came back and ordered the chicken ramen again, fire chicken with rice, beer, plum wine (because I’m in love with it), 2 rolls (spicy tuna and salmon roll), with complimentary edamame, 2 spring rolls, and 2 cheesecake squares. Again, all for about the same price!!Beautiful decor, amazing service both visits, and food to die for all for a great price.10/10 recommended."

"My family and I live in Richmond, and we were very much looking forward to dining here during our visit to Northern VA. We ordered: bulgogi fries, mango habanero chicken wings, and a carne asada Mexican burrito.First off, we had the mango habanero chicken wings. They were slightly dry, but the glazed mango habanero sauce more than made up for it! They were delicious and had a decent amount of spicyness. Definitely recommend. 4/5Next, we had the bulgogi fries which are covered in cheese and a sauce. These fries were absolutely banging and the bulgogi meat was so addictingly delicious and flavorful that I genuinely couldn't stop myself. Would come here just for these fries. 5/5.Now, you can imagine our expectations were quite high for the carne asada Mexican burrito, especially since it serves as the main course for the meal. So you can imagine how disappointed we were when we took our first bites of the burrito. It was extremely flavorless! Literally, no flavor at all. I asked the cashier for salt at least, and he was nice enough to bring out a salt shaker, but somehow that still didn't help the burrito! The meat tasted like it had no seasoning of any kind, and somehow even the rice, tomatoes and onions inside the burrito were also lacking any flavor whatsoever. Not just me either, my wife and daughter also felt the exact same way. I have no idea what happened to the burrito, but no matter what sauce I used, I couldn't save it. They also cut the burrito in a diagonal cut, but it doesn't work at all because everything just spills out as you pick it up. I don't understand how the sides could be so much better than the main meal, but we left this place sorely disappointed. 0/5The service, on the other hand, was excellent, as they were relatively quick with the food and they were very kind. However, I'm really not a fan of the decor in the restaurant. They have all these album covers all over the wall, which really takes away from the family friendly vibe this place should have. A place that serves strictly halal food, should also keep the aesthetics just as halal."

"Chuy's has pretty good tex-mex. The portions are big, even if you take the appetizers, so do come hungry. I love how you are able to explore a variety of sauces before choosing a sauce. My favorite is the green or red chile, especially if you are getting an enchilada. I'm not a fan of their creamy jalapeno, but that is due to not liking mayonnaise. I love fajitas, so I almost take the beef or shrimp fajitas every time, but their Elvis Presley is also pretty good, and their enchiladas. Any of the sizzling entrees are my personal favorite, but there's a lot of great options. Honestly, the chicken fajitas could use a little seasoning, but the sauces can definitely help with that. Also, I feel like the taco kind of falls apart, and the tortilla could be bonded more with some cheese or beans.Service is great and friendly. Definitely a great place to go with friends and family."

"I want to be fair here. We were not expecting much, and so were not all that disappointed. Everyone that worked at this location was friendly, helpful and attentive, but not overly so. The staff was the best part of the meal. The place was clean, but looks and feels a little tired and sad. My husband had a keep it simple cheeseburger and it was 'decent, ' cooked to order with all the usual toppings. I had the crispy chicken tender salad, and it wasn 't bad, but didn 't look or taste fresh...just kind of limp and blah, and the fried chicken was completely tasteless. Not a spice to be found. Even the dressing didn 't have any zing. They make a big deal about their onion rings. We got the short tower and they were well cooked and crunchy, but again pretty tasteless. With two soft drinks, the bill came to over $45. That 's a lot of money for meh."

"We came to Ruffino's after striking out elsewhere on Labor Day;however, this unintentional visit was surprisingly enjoyable! It was Fairfax City Restaurant Week so they only had their three course $35/per person menu. I had the watermelon/arugula/feta salad (as did my mom while my Dad had the fried mozzarella), the lamb bolognese (as did both of my parents), and the bread pudding (as did both of my parents). The watermelon was sweet and slightly grilled, the pickled onions were a nice touch as was the sweeter dressing. The lamb bolognese was another delicious item with home made, Al dente noodles. The bread pudding was not as sticky or sweet as I'd have liked. The other choice was a black and white cake. The owner was also our server and was very personable. I enjoyed my restaurant week meal here and I'd return again to try their regular menu!"
