"Cute establishment but really disappointed in our seating arrangement. It was our first time there and I had requested a booth reservation for a designated time for an anniversary celebration. This request was confirmed by them through their social media site.Upon arrival we announced we had a reservation. Instead of a booth, we were seated at a table next to a large group of six. I asked if a booth was available and the wait staff said no. So much for trying to set a reservation.Food was ok. We ordered an appetizer of peppers in oil and warm bread. Outstanding! My main course was the broiled seafood platter. It came with two side choices. The platter was what was expected: two scallops and shrimp (all cooked to perfection), a large piece of white fish (just a bit dry), and a crabcake. All swimming in a large amount of butter (I like butter but it was a bit too much for me). My sides were a baked potato and a bowl of sauteed mushrooms and onions. The ratio of mushroom to onion was extremely thin.My partner ordered the stromboli with sauce. He said it was good but could have been browned a little more on top. It did appear a bit pale.I had one of their specialty drinks, an apple cider margarita. Way too sweet for my taste.Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. But the lack of our reservation request made our experience less than special. All in all, we decided the best part of our visit was the $5.00 peppers in oil appetizer. But not worth the 30 minute drive to go back again."

"My wife, daughter and I went to the bald birds brewery on a Sunday afternoon from the photos and reviews we expected a great experience, however we were severely disappointed. We had their RIP sandwich with pulled pork and brisket, a small pizza, and bacon cheese fries. The fresh cut fries that came with the sandwich was the best thing about the meal, crispy and proper. However the bacon cheese fries were under cooked or under fried. The small pizza for $13 and some change was the worst pizza we have had in years. You would be better off getting a pizza from minute mart or out of the freezer, the pulled pork was bland and the brisket was not cut properly due to how chewy it was. The man that took our order acted as if we were a burden in his day and the place wasn’t even busy. It only took ten minutes to have our meal ready but I would have much rather waited another 20min for a better experience. I would stay away from this place if your looking for a good meal, if you have the cash to waste and don’t care about the quality of your meal then maybe this is a place for you. But as for us we won’t be back. For bald birds the beer was very good and my advice after 22years as a professional chef for bald birds would be to find a new food provider or they should make sure the current provider improves their service. Even tho they are two separate entities the food reflects the environment. When we first walked in we had high hopes when we left we know we would never return, “change my mind."
