"In/ near the centre of Kassel: This is my best choice. Very nice food, very nice hosts and service, nice place. My swordfish ceviche and rabbit dish were both excellent. The service, hospitality and wine suggestions was far above the other places i visited in Kassel. Highly recommended."

"During my time in Kassel, my colleagues and I use a pizza several times. The pizzas were always warm and delicious. The selection was great and there were promotional offers available through the homepage. The prices were okay. However, the delivery service often had difficulties with time (15 min extra waiting time), although we had ordered for fixed times. All in all a good concept and recommended."

"This looks an unpromising area at first glance, a bit off the beaten track, but it was a great find. Walk down the steps through the terraces from the Grimm Museum, passing through two nice outdoor bars, then down the street a bit. The staff were very friendly, gave three of us a table in the window which said reserved on it (not by us) and the burgers, served medium rare, and fries with parmesan and rosemary, are lovely. The other customers seemed a friendly bunch too. My friends said the beer was good, and the salads (not sampled) looked alright too. On the short way down there we also went into two equally friendly small galleries which had openings, so this seems like quite a cool place to be, and a nice grassroots alternative to the official and slightly forbidding Documenta."

"Wir haben am letzten Tag unseres Urlaubs nach einem besonderen Restaurant gesucht und sind durch das australische Angebot auf das Foster's Garden aufmerksam geworden. Wir wurden an diesem Abend sehr freundlich vom Chef begrüßt (es waren nicht mehr viele da und bedient. Trotz des erhöhten Preises haben wir uns für die australische Grillplatte für 2 Personen mit zusätzlich Krokodil (kostet nochmals extra entschieden. Da wir wissen, dass gute australische Qualität seinen Preis hat, haben wir mit je einem Stück Fleisch pro Person gerechnet, bekommen haben wir eine Platte die bestimmt auch für 4 Personen gereicht hätte. Ev. könnte man hier im Preis Mengen Verhältnis noch was machen (weniger, dafür günstiger . Das Fleisch war super auf den Punkt zubereitet und sehr lecker, die Beilagen ebenfalls geschmacklich hervorragend. Das Ambiente war für unseren letzten Abend mehr als passend. Die Beleuchtung in dem gläsernen Raum zusammen mit der dezenten Musik ergab eine sehr romantische Stimmung. Der Chef hat sich am Ende noch sehr nett mit uns unterhalten und auch die Angestellten waren den Abend über stets freundlich. So ein Restaurant wie das Foster's Garden würden wir uns in unserer Gegend wünschen. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Gegend sein kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder : Vielen Dank für den super schönen Abschlussabend unseres Urlaubs :"

"we were there on a Saturday evening with 11 people. is newly renovated, very nice, cozy, Mediterranean cuisine. I had ordered tapas as an appetizer and left the choice to the owner. tapas were very good, have rarely eaten better. the later pizza from the loam oven was also very delicious. some of us have eaten noodles, even those were very satisfied. we drank mainly cocktails. the cocktail card is small, the cocktails but good. a special request was also possible, since the corresponding ingredients were present. the service was beautiful and accommodating. all in all we were all very satisfied, value for money especially at pizza is very good."

"we were three, three have lined up across the card and for the appetizer the much-prised teig bags. everything has tasted quite differently from the chinese, pure from the taste, crisp sweet, great flavor. Special wishes (leave away an ingredient) and degree of sharpness have been taken into account throughout and are a good indicator that is freshly cooked here. as well as in the other reviews, I can only confirm that one is worth visiting here. I don't want to add more. try out yourself, but not be disappointed when the classic "Glutamat taste" remains. you can't find it here for happiness."

"Just for fun, a group of us (3 Americans, 1 German, 1 Brit) went here for an evening meal yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The burgers were good and quite sizeable, my home fries were excellent and there is a good range of drinks available, including several different beers. The custom-burger option, enabling you to pick and choose your preferred style of burger, topping, sauces, sides etc. is a particularly good feature. The restaurant is bright and airy, situated in a salubrious part of Kassel with a view of the courts of the tennis club next door. The 3 young ladies who served us were friendly and efficient and all in all we had a very pleasant experience."

"A real slack for the tongue. For every gourmet that is just nearby is a must. Rarely a wet approach is worth the special, extremely tasty and rare taste. "A friend had noticed the daily way to work this restaurant and reserved a table for 6 people on Saturday night. The restaurant was very well visited, many places were occupied. The soundtrack was suitable. A conversation at the table was still possible. The order was soon received, the drinks were also brought to the table in time. The food was later served significantly together, which had to do with the various visitors. The selected dishes were excellent in taste and optimistic. The dessert was also a hit. "Through Google reviews, we discovered the JWD. Super nice, accommodating hostess, here cosiness and enjoyment are written. 3 Faßbiere and 5 Bottlebiere for choice. A tip from me that absolutely orders the Caipirinha, it is really here, and it is about my wife drank 2 and was tight. Various dishes, self-made goulash soup, nachos, I had a Mega-Sharp Devilsburger, from which the host had warned me extra, nothing for weak mucous membranes. Resümee, if we stop in Kassel, we'll come back."

"since our last visit it is over a year ago and I am delighted that it impressed us again. the food is cooked by a high standard and beautiful. for beginners we had the aperitivo de jerez and the vitello tonnato again. I really have to try. another next time! and for the net, the plato marinero trio of fish and solomillo con ensalada y cebollas fritas one of their full-fledged steak dishes. we were offered a selection of tables note: we came as soon as they were opened! at the arrival. the tables are separated by the handing of plastic screens that make it a bit safer in our current pandemic. there is clearly a great investment in the selection of employees and their training was impeccable, very efficient and friendly. we can definitely recommend to book this restaurant just as it is very popular!"

"An ambitious Greek restaurant with a pleasant, slightly elevated flair. If you don't insist too much on your gyroscope, you can experience exquisite cuisine here as it does not exist in Kassel. All freshly cooked. Highest quality ingredients and these certain something. The dishes flatter the palate and fill the mouth with memories of the summer. Generally used herbs complete the whole.
