"I am giving this restaurant two stars because the sushi was really good, but the overall experience was disappointing. Despite the good sushi, the service was subpar. We were the only customers when we arrived, but four other people came in 30 minutes later and received their food before us. When we inquired about our order, we were given conflicting excuses ranging from losing our order to not even putting it in. The manager apologized, but no one gave a clear explanation for the mistake. Despite the delicious sushi, the disorganized service makes me hesitant to return in the future."

"Last night we had my husbands 60th birthday dinner party at Christina's. The dinner was served nice n hot to everyone in the room promptly, n was sooo delicious! The staff there is so wonderfully friendly n very attentive! Everything was just perfect. Our family n friends are still talking about the wonderful meal n service. What a great place. "Planned on eating at the Beekman Arms where we were staying. Was told the resturant was closed only a few options for take out. A very nice person sitting in the lobby said they had the same experience and recommended the 15 min. drive to Kingston. So glad we did. Great old building, great food, beautiful fire in the fireplace. Everything we were hoping for. We will go back again!"

"We had just toured the Rockingham Historical Site very nearby PJ 's Pancake House in Kingston so we dropped in for lunch afterward. I have to agree with some of the other Reviewers that the prices are towards the high end of the scale for pancakes; but the variety of pancakes far exceeds what you would see in the average neighborhood pancake restaurant . We had the Caramel-apple Pancakes and the plate of 5 was more than enough to split between my wife and myself (which also helps to lower the 'per-person ' cost). The taste was quite good, the coffee was very good and quite fresh, and the service was all one could ask for. If you are looking for a 'different pancake experience ' I would recommend PJ 's."

"The bento boxes are huge!!! You could feed four people with this. I've been eating for an hour and a half and only finished one of the four compartments and some of my soup. The dumplings are good (I think they were shrimp Simao but not at all fishy). Miso is perfectly balanced. Only complaints is the sauces aren't labeled and there was only one shrimp tempura the rest was all veggie tempura. You can feed four mildly hungry people with this."

"I'm a former Kingston resident who came here on a visit back home. This place makes probably the best manicotti I've ever had. The filling was amazing, and I cannot speak more highly of the sauce. The service was great, we loved our cocktails, and debated stealing the adjacent table's breadsticks once we destroyed our own basket. I'll be back up in June, and I can't wait to come back!"

"Visited on 11/10. Stephano is amazing. He gave us phenomenal service. What he actually did not know is that it was a very special night for us and we had reservations across the street; however, we were not fans of the atmosphere and left. He was so attentive and oustanding. My partner does not speak much English and Stephano even spoke in Spanish for us. Thanks to him, this was the best restaurant experience I may have ever had. I already shared it on facebook. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking. My partner loved his snails and salad. We even got an excellent dessert. It was cold outside and they had heaters and were very attentive. Prices were reasonable. Beautiful place and outside seating was lovely. Highly recommend and ensure Stephano is your server!"

"This is a wonderful little neighborhood bar...with great pub fare. They have a good selection of beers including stouts and porters and obscure things that I'm not intrested in but other people seem to love. The staff are always wonderful. Sometimes there's music. It's a friendly, Moderately priced casual place , with a patio in the fall and summer and Spring. Local grass fed burgers, great fries, french onion soup, mussels, are just a few of the staples. Great fries!"

"My first experience at this restaurant was for takeout, and it was delicious. I even had to call the restaurant to let them know. I have worked in the restaurant industry for most of my life, in various roles such as management, cook, and kitchen manager. The phone order was taken by Terry or Theresa, who was extremely friendly, helpful, and answered all of my questions. We ordered the Family to-go deal #1, which included Penne a la Vodka, Caesar salad, and bread. We also added the meatball appetizer, calamari fritti, and bocconcini. Due to a foot injury, my wife had to go inside to pick up the food, but the staff offered to help bring our order out to the car. These small gestures are why the restaurant has been around since the 1970s. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and I look forward to returning for a proper sit-down meal with my wife. Thank you for making our family so happy."

"Nice ambience, not cozy but pleasant and good location just outside downtown Princeton with plenty of parking. Acoustics are not great so it is loud. Portions are modest and a la carte, so sides are extra. The artisan bread, while decent and served with olive oil, is also a la carte, not 'included. ' The menu is varied but limited. My Pescatore was superb: tender rings of squid, perfectly poached salmon, plenty of shrimp, salty mussels in a tasty broth with squid ink spaghetti. One of us had the NY strip and requested it medium rare but it arrived medium; the cut had no bone, gristle or fat and she ate it all. Another of us had the pastaless vegetable lasagne and it was also very good but the portion was, again, modest. We shared the burrata which was soft and had a nice topping of tomatoes and scallions ? . Total cost $70/person for 1 entree, 1 glass of wine, shared bread and appetizer, no dessert, includes tax and tip."

"We visit the area and we are very pleased that we are over! We ordered the Dora Pizza and chicken casar salad. Both were excellent! The crust was perfectly boiled and I could use the first bite the sauce was fresh. We loved the ground sausage, the right amount of cheese and pepperoni. We'll probably be back before we go. Definitely recommend!"

"We had a lovely lunch. Everything tasted fresh. I started with the New England clam chowder and my entree was fried seafood with a side salad. The chowder was perfect and so fresh. The fried seafood was yummy and the salad was crispy fresh. My husband had Cesar salad with grilled shrimp. They gave him plenty of large shrimp. The cesar dressing was delicious. Their portions are generous. They service was attentive, friendly and warm. We even had the pleasure to meet the chef. He went to the social distancing tables to check up and thank us for dining at his place. We definitely recommend it and we will be visiting again."

"Spent 116$ on dinner and drinks. My taco salad, I got with pork, and the whole bottom of my tortilla was full of liquid from the pork to the point I couldn't even eat it. I took maybe 2 bites. My waitress (who was amazing) tried to make it right, but the establishment MADE her charge me for not only the garbage meal I got that I couldn't even eat, and then made her charge me for my replacement, which was a 5$ item on their menu. I will go there for drinks only, if that, and that's solely because our waitress was awesome. Very disappointed. I work in the food industry and would have never served the swill I got for dinner tonight, let alone charged someone for it..."

"At 4:38 a.m. to get reservations for Valentine's dinner. Kim answered and was very polite and began working with me. Long story short she could fit us and we had the best time. The service was excellent, also the food. (5 rough meal with fillet mignon and lobster as main rough. The chef came out and asked how we liked the food and asked if he could improve something. Really? Everything in the whole woman and I were very impressed by this institution. We will return. Thanks, Kingston Ale House for the romantic dinner of our Valentine and one of the most unforgettable. Cheers!"
