"Wonderful meal. All of salsa, to tacos, to amazing beans, to drinks was absolutely 10/10. The flan had great texture, and our waitress was great. They are very busy and the kitchen is very efficient. Or new favorite Mexican place! Will be back."

"We have ordered from this restaurant several times in the past, mainly because there are limited vegan options in this area. The food is good, although I'm not a fan of the plastic packaging they use. However, today we were very disappointed to receive an egg dish, even though we had specifically ordered vegan. I don't like wasting food, so I reluctantly ate it, despite my strong beliefs against consuming animal products. This is the first non-vegan item I've eaten in almost 30 years, and I can tell that my taste buds have changed. There is always a risk for vegans when ordering from a non-vegan restaurant. This review is based on my recent experience and is an update from my previous review on August 28, 2021."

"A little upset that I made a reservation for and received a high table that seated next to the pool table. We had guests from our of town that we were trying to show around Kirkland and one of us had to stand the whole time and eat our meal standing. Also, I called in advance to find out if there was a cutoff time for minors. I was told by the woman in the phone that if we arrived before the minors could stay until Then, at we were told by our server that the children had to leave. I explained that I was told on the phone earlier in the day that was the time, the server then said, well, she was mistaken. Great food, but not great service by the staff"

"UPDATE: Still the best farm to table food on the east side by far, but @DERU please PLEASE expand your gluten free offerings! A gluten free pasta and a gluten free bread option would go such a long way and would really open up the menu options for those of us who are gluten free. Your food is way too. Good to miss out on. There is no better brunch on the east side! They are also all so friendly, kind and delightful. Favorite spot, highly recommend."

"I just had a couple of tacos that were so delicious! The shell was so fresh and crispy! I have never had a shell that tasted so fresh! Even when I make tacos at home, the shell isn’t as fresh. I asked for tomato instead of cheese and they put a decent amount of tomatoes on the taco. Then, to make it a perfect taco, they didn’t oversaturate the shell with runny taco seasoning, which normally causes the bottom of the shell to get soggy and fall apart. Good job Totem Lake Taco Bell! I will be back!"

"It 's taken me a long time to write this review. I 've never written one, but I 've never had an experience like the one I had here, and it 's taken me a while to process. I came in on July 26th, 2024. My sister was a month away from going away to college for the first time, and I wanted to do something nice with her before she left. It was a sunny day and anyone who lives in the area knows you really have to make the most of them, so we decided we would treat ourselves to a nice lakeside restaurant. Long story short (although I will leave the full story below if you 'd like to read more , the server treated us vastly different than everyone else he served including the table that was right next to us. He looked upset to even have to serve us and never checked up on us after he brought us our drinks despite coming back repeatedly to check on the table next to us. He also took over 30 minutes to bring us 2 orders of fish and chips and a kids ' meal. He took so long that my sister and little cousin got up to use the bathroom again while we waited and they said that they saw the server and a coworker SITTING and LAUGHING at them when they walked by. Finally, when the food finally arrived, it was all COLD to the touch. I was infuriated as it was beyond clear to me at that moment that we were being discriminated against in plain sight. The server sped off as soon as he dropped off our food and only returned to check on the table next to us yet again, but not on ours. He was clearly avoiding acknowledging me in any way after his interaction with the next table, so I had to call him over. I said, EXCUSE ME, we waited over 30 minutes for our food, and it 's COLD. He knew he was wrong because he didn 't even try to deny it. Instead, he said he would take EVERYTHING off the bill. And he did but clearly only because he knows he messed up severely. We left the restaurant, and it 's taken me a while to process, but I still feel really sad and shocked about how we were treated. I know racism still existed but to be treated with such disgust and disregard in a professional, public, and crowded environment was something I didn 't think anyone, especially an EMPLOYEE at their JOB, would have the balls to do. I don 't really know how to end this other than saying I think this issue goes deeper than just the server (why did he think it was okay to act this way? . I wouldn 't recommend this place to anyone who believes in equality, and writing a review honestly just doesn 't do what happened justice. My sister left for college yesterday, and we never got to do anything special again. We were scared to go out to eat again out of fear of having to go through discrimination again. I don 't think I can quite express the impact this experience has had on us but if it leaves you with anything, it should be a reminder that progress unfortunately still needs to be made in our society."

"the service was very good. we arrived with my 97-year-old mother and we are immediately greeted by one of the hostes or perhaps a manager) who got us a wheelchair and helped us to our table. After eating, she helped us all get away to our car. I grew up in kirkland and my family has always been very popular at homeport. our eating was moderate I had the grilled healed that was boiled over. the grilled vegetables were not good. my father didn't like his dinner. my man had clam chowder and caesar salat, which was good. it was very loud for my older mother who is hard to hear and it was very dark so she could not see well. we'll come back there, it's so funny to see the sea."

"especially these teenagers who work there are rude. I had requested an article that was missing from my pizza and the girl over the switch gave me only one option. I said, “I guess that’s good,” as soon as I said that a teenage boy and girl worker went by and laughed. no customer service. Moreover, we have ordered to go so that we would not wait for the thirty to fourth five minutes, and when we went to pick up, we sat outside and were told that it was only for dinning. first we must not “dipping” but we ordered pizza it was not like we sat at their tables eating from another place. we kicked out. the ten minutes we are our eating in another area of the original we at zeeks was not used at all. it was left empty all the time. overall the experience was not great with the personal. not recommended."

"We were a little confused if we order online with Toast, but the waitress came to place our order. The food came pretty fast after we ordered us. You can choose spice levels up to 5. I saw chickens with 2 sharp eyes and it wasn't very sharp. It'll be a little more next time. The crispy chicken was delicious and crispy and the padthai was a classic."

"TDLR: the beer can chicken is juicy! This place is connected to the lobby of a hotel. Street parking. The decor is pretty minimal but I do have to applaud their alternating cup colors at each table. It's a great way to tell which cup is yours or not. Clever. The salt jar is pretty neat too. Paper menu with some descriptions. They don't have a whole lot since each thing is made to order. Service: wait to be seated, order at the table, you will water yourself with a nifty glass carton, your leftovers will be boxed for you, check brought to you. Maria's Beer Can Chicken: a meal for two, very filling and the chicken is very tender and juicy. The potatoes, onions, and dates compliment it nicely. Stone Fruit Short Bread: yum! I love the short bread chunks. Made to order and takes 30 minutes."

"We've been eating at this Azteca since moving here in March. The food is consistently good, but today when I asked about getting queso on top of enchiladas instead of the red sauce I was informed that I'd be charged for a full queso dip 9). That's a significant up charge for something that should have been simple. I've never ever had this problem with any other Mexican food restaurant in this area or anywhere else I've lived."

"This place is incredible! It is by far the best gyro I've had in Seattle. Prices are decent, portions are generous. The super gyro is the best option in my opinion. They are always very generous with the ingredients. The meat is always tender. Fair prices."

"The place changed owners recently and their food is getting better. We tried their new pho, Bun Bo Hue and the grilled pork banh mi banh mi is good. Their combo now includes fries, you can choose normal fries or sweet potato fries. They even give us a small cup of simple broth/soup to have with it. Surprised that I can taste pate in their banh mi! the pho broth is one of the best I have ever had. It's slightly sweeter than what I normally want but it's super tasty. I actually can eat the pho as it is, don't need to put hoisin sauce or the chili sauce for this pho. Might just need to squeeze a bit of lime to make it better. They now offer only one size for their pho. Bun Bo Hue: very flavorful and tasty broth. it has the right cut of beef and pork, but not pork knuckles. I wish that they could make their sate spicier then it'd be perfect! You guys need to give this spicy beef noodles a try! Overall, I'm so happy, my wish is fulfilled! Finally, there's a place to have decent Bun Bo Hue in the Eastside. Will definitely need to come back more often for Bun Bo Hue and try other food."

"Wanted to give some special friends a thank you dinner. They had their Husky with them and I chose LB because they were dog friendly, but the evening was an unforgettable delight. Love the parking (especially for that location)! Service was impeccable without being pretentious. Food and presentation was AMAZING! Have been several times and never disappoints!"
