"We 've been here 3 times on our 7 day trip. Food is amazing, drinks are almost better. Had poke tacos raviolis for apps, chef 's special (was so good I only got the last bite pic) and saimin noodles for entree 's. Which, by the way, blew each of our minds. They have the best Mai Thai 's in the surrounding area (the honey foam is to die for). If you 're lucky enough to get Tracy as a bartender, listen to her. We enjoyed some cucumber salad and I said I wanted a drink to match. She made me the best cucumber drink, and answered my husband 's request (which he does to many bartenders, who never oblige and make him pick): I like any beer, you pick and she did, it was a delicious hazy and he was very satisfied! This is the place to come, worth the wait if there is one!"

"The coffee selection at this place consists of medium and dark roasts. Unfortunately, the pour-over was quite disappointing; it was extremely bitter and didn’t adhere to the preparation method I’m accustomed to. If you prefer lighter roast coffee, I wouldn't recommend this shop."

Everyone will find something they love. They offer free valet parking. Plan to arrive before sunset to take photos. There is a gorgeous bar indoors, but you must have a seat to order a drink. Similarly, you must be seated outside to enjoy a drink outdoors. So, don't plan to have a drink while you wait for your table."

"Restaurant is located right on the beach with beautiful views. Service was good, waiter was attentive and helpful. The food was fresh but salad was super salty with cheap dressing that was disappointing. We ordered few different dishes with fish and the sauce for different dishes tasted the same. Overall we had a good time and I would come back there again, but skipped salads."

"I have been dining at Royal Ocean Terrace for many years and have seen a few menu changes. The current menu is unappealing. We ordered the steamed fish and chicken flatbread. The food came out so fast it had to have been microwaved. The texture of the chicken on the flatbread was mushy and had no flavor. The fish was served with rice but the grains of rice were hard and undercooked. We will not be returning."

"Hyatt is our biggest disappointment in maui. The filet mignon texture was mushy and tasteless, porterhouse was a thin slice -poor butcher cut, tough, chewy for $95 piece of junk lobster ravioli (no lobster all pasta)â¦best dish was the Caesar salad. We spent $400/3ppl on the Hyatt name. You should refund our money shameful restaurant! We celebrated a familyâs 70th birthday We were recommended by Marriott-adv them not to associate the Marriott name w Hyatt!"

"The lively location on the beach is a popular place for tourists wishing that they were more willing to take a vegan diet. Server seemed upset that we asked how things could be changed on the menu to end a plant-based diet, we had a nice meal, but it shouldn't have been so hard to convince him to ask the kitchen what they could do for us. Finished with a fresh mixed green salad, but subbed avocado for the goat's cheese, the hummus trio, the delicious flatbread and fresh veggies (Carrot, Eks, Radieschen) and had tacos with the Taro Burger patty instead of fish. Note: The beer that is beaten on the menu as an option for the tacos is NOT VEGAN (dairy in batter), which seems like such a missed opportunity. Put Tofu on a menu as an option instead of fish and don't make it vegan? It seems ridiculous. We probably wouldn't go back, but for a night it was just good."

"Food was definitely higher quality. Was very hard to get a table so I strongly suggest that you get reservations well in advance. And im not talking just the day before or anything. We went for happy hour originally but ended up lucking out and getting a table immediately afterwards in the bar which is based on first come, first serve basis. Service was alright. Nothing too exciting or top notch. Atmosphere was gorgeous,I wish we could have caught the live band that was getting ready to play. I realize they also have seating on the third level and the views from up there are spectacular. Overlooking the ocean. And if you can get sunset times you are in luck. Would definitely recommend this place to others."

"This location was across the street from our hotel when we visited this beautiful island. This is a Greek/pizza place restaurant. Our first experience of this place is when we purchased food to go. We wanted to cook in our place so we purchased raw beef and vegetables on a skewer. The skewer the food is on is metal and you pay a deposit and get $5 back when you return the skewer. The food was delicious, meat was tender. The second day after our excursion we just decided to have pizza and order the Maui awwie and pepperoni pizza. The pizza was good as well. The owner, or at least we thought was the owner was very accommodating and friendly friendly. To support the store, I didn't want the deposit back after I returned the skewer, but the owner gave us free ice cream anyways. He was really cool. So if your saying in Lahaina area, support this restaurant. You won't regret it"

"I?m kind of disappointed with Roy?s. After all this is supposed to fine dining brought to you by a well known chef. The biggest disappointment was the main course. I chose the Mahi with pesto over udon noodles. The fish was over cooked , and rubbery and stringy. It lacked so much seasoning that the dish itself was close to inedible. The broth seemed to just be watered down soy sauce and included very hard to chew and charred bacon bits. Highly disappointed in the $60 main course. Dessert was pineapple upside down cake that was dry and subpar to any store bought mix in addition to the drizzled caramel sauce having a taste of burnt sugar. The highlight of the evening was the appetizer of fried calamari, which was long, delicate, tender strips in a umani of flavors and spice. The appetizer and the main course and dessert seemed to be cooked by different chefs. The service was excellent and friendly, if only the food matched the service. My advice, if you want fine dining and are In Ka?anapali skip Roy?s and go elsewhere."

"My wife and I had a reservation for breakfast/brunch and thoroughly enjoyed our food, I had the Loco Moco with fried rice,y wife had the omelet with fried rice, we both had the tropical smoothie and shared a banana macadamia nut pancake. We had a wonderful view of the ocean and the 2 outer Islands and enjoyed a nice breeze. A reservation will help to cut down on wait time. The staff was friendly and accommodating and definitely took good care of us! If Erika is waiting on you then know that you are in great hands!"

"The best part of the experience to eat is the atmosphere that you are in when eating. You cannot beat the view of Molokai and the Ocean during Sunset.Food was average at best. Cheeseburger was good quality for meat, but lacked a bit of seasoning; a bit bland…fries were what you would expect. Coconut Shrimp was crispy, not rubbery at all, and the dipping sauce paired well. Fish tacos were not terribly satisfying as the fish was dry, with a sauce that was heavy on the mayonnaise taste alone; a bit of a let down. Chips and Guacamole/Salsa was very under par for quality.Service was impeccable and bar tender was generous with pours and very polite with speedy service for both drinks and food.Since you are in such a beautiful setting, it is hard to gripe honestly. Again, food is average, but the atmosphere is beyond pleasant."

"While the concept of cooking your own pancakes at the table was very enjoyable (especially for my younger siblings), the vegan pancake batter was not very good in my opinion. The batter was also gluten free, and thus quite grainy and not very “pancakey”, and I’m pretty sure that was the only vegan option they had. If you don’t mind gluten-free pancakes though, I think you would really like this place and if you’re in the area, try it out (especially if you have kids)."

"Literally one of the best restaurants I've been to. I went here for my bday dinner w my girl friends and first off the view is of course amazing, the vibe and set up of the whole restaurant is spectacular. The service was also very attentive and accommodating. The food was unique l, flavorful and fresh. Everything you could ask for. I am a big foodie and love going out to nice restaurants and this was a 10/10 recommend."
