"Back to the roots you want to overwrite it when you know the history of the house, read, or even have followed for a while. Under the direction of the father, the current owner, the oat box was missed a significantly Mediterranean impact. It wasn't bad to take into account the Spanish roots of the former boss. But it's time. So also the regulated succession in the oat box. Mathias Schäfer has dedicated himself to the fertilizers and started his own cider again. The popular apple wine festival in Langen is now also directed to the part that the directly opposite four-tube fountain is supplied with the spoon from the oat box. (But only during the festival! Otherwise only water flows out of the well) Nothing changed in the style of the restaurant. The relatively dark furnishing with abundant wood results from the work of the house. And also the rest is quite suitable for a restaurant that has now dedicated itself to bourgeois cuisine and local specialties. The service, emsy and friendly, kept for us looking for free places and asked us to wait a few minutes in the covered garden. Soon the table was free and we got the card. The apple wine is a bit richer than my favorite varieties, but it is very drinkable because it is not oversaturated. Some types of beer from barrels and bottle do not come over here. What was served us as a dish dish corresponded to expectations. My Rumpsteak Café de Paris was excellent. But the Papa had obviously introduced a slight Spanish note. Very pleasant and also not drowned in a strange sauce. Fine nuances of the many herbs with a wonderful piece of meat. There wasn't even a mockery. Fine. The onion carving with roast potatoes was obviously also quite good. Despite a huge portion, the plate was finally flash-blank. The granddaughter had made a trout. Also a good choice. Now we had actually ignored the Hessian specialties. Reason enough to be presented here soon."

"Location: Located in Langen on the railway road. Parking is available behind the house. From outside, windows around this place are visible. A reservation is recommended, because the reputation seems good and the tables quickly occupied. In summer you can sit outside. We are recommended by friends there for the first time and were very satisfied. Ambiente: It is kept in bistro style. Clean and inside, two large plates immediately fall into the eye, on which dishes and drinks are served. Even though it is not great there, we felt very comfortable. Service: Flott, very friendly and especially very attentive. Top! Beverages: From fashionable Hugo to variants there are attractive selections in this segment. But juices are also worth tasting. The wines are standard, however, as I did not try them, I cannot say whether the Primitivo is worth its price for 4.80. Food: The pizza is a stone oven pizza and is served attractively on the large wooden board. It tastes crispy and good, is exactly properly occupied, the Diavolo could be sharper, but that's the author who likes it more ultra-sharf. The ingredients are fresh, the price of 6-7 euros is good. The ordered salad was fresh and made right. Then there was our Schnitzelesser, who dared to the Chilischnizel, excellent as very sharp. The warning was justified, sharp but nevertheless very tasty. For brave ones a recommendation. Pizza, pasta, salads and meat lust are the headings of food selection in the rather favourable price segment. Despite very good quality. Conclusion: Here we go again!"
