"The woman and the kids took lunch yesterday. We came to a packed house at 1230. We sat at the last table and the waitress greeted us and took our drink order. Children ordered root beer and chocolate milk. The chocolate milk was very chocolate, which was great. Wife and I had ginger ale served in a cool mason glass. Our waitress returned some moments later with our beverage order and took our food order. The guys ordered both Cheeseburgers. I ordered the fish and chips and the woman had the BLT packaging. The time to get our food was average when considering what we ordered and how busy the restaurant was. It was worth waiting. My fish share was huge. The fish was beautiful and crispy on the outside and moist and flocky on the inside. It was accompanied by a nice help from seasoned Curleyries and a beautiful homemade Coleslaw that was beautifully dressed with just a touch of Viniger that I thought was perfect. The boys had ordered cheeseburgers. The burgers were hand-shaped and very large, probably one inch thick and completely covered the bungalow. They were ordered, boiled medium, and the chef has tasted it. The burgers also came with a nice help from handcuffs. The BLT turkey pack of the woman was very fresh and had again a huge amount of turkey. It came with chips and a pimple. Everything about our lunch was really great. If you are looking for great food at a reasonable price in Lenox, do not see more than the Old Heritage Tavern."

"according to their online menu, luau hale, comes over to make almost any polynesian dish vegan / vegetarian. not like that! the roasted tofu is not vegan or vegetarian as there is only one frit; therefore the tofu is fried with all meat types. on the menu there are only seven vegetarian Chinese dishes. very few polynesian dishes can be made vegan/vegetarian. I ordered the kung poo gai ding. it had no taste. that no taste brown sauce tasted as if it had been made only from soy sauce, water and maize starch. the vegetables were mostly celery and green pfeffer, not too tasty with the mushy so called steamed tofu. my man ordered general tsos tofu, because the waiter came back and told him that they did not change cashews for his favorite dish, tofu cashews, a court to be made to change from the cashew chicken dish on the menu. he said the general tso tofu didn't taste like any other dish he had enjoyed in other oriental restaurants; he said that the dish was tasteless in a ground, except for the essence of meat flavored oil, which completely soaks the badly fried tofu. he told me the normally sweet taste was actually unpleasant weeping. the visit to Luau hale was very disappointing. eating was badly prepared and had little to no taste. the normal Chinese trade fair we find in restaurants at home was so much better than those dishes. please don't waste their time trying to find qualitatiw high quality vegan / vegetarian food here!"
