"This review makes me sad to write. I have eaten at Crostwater dozens and dozens of times and have recommended it right and left. We used to go there weekly with friends, won numerous trivia competitions and enjoyed many nights of music. The last 3 times we went the food was sub par but yesterday April 2nd, was absolutely the worst. First, we paid $24 for a turkey dinner that could have been purchased at any local diner for $12. It was so dry I could barely eat it and the gravy was off. The redeaming ish feature of the meal was the brick of stuffing that actually tasted good. My wife ordered the chicken pesto. The chicken was burnt. We are not talking just a little overdone, it was all out black, burnt to a crisp. All 6 sitting at the table could smell the burnt puck of chicken on the plate. This was not advertised as blackened (and as foodies we know what blackened food taste and smells like). The chef and server should not have served this. The waitress offered to take it off the bill, however it was not taken off the bill so we paid for something we didn 't eat. I seriously hope that someone takes a hold of this kitchen and turns it around. On the good side, this is a distillery and the drinks are not notch and out of this world."
