"At first maybe a little history: My former boss has a stone oven in his house in the garden, he often uses a flame cake for bread making, pizzas have already been tried, but with no good result. Therefore, I am not so the stone oven fan regarding pizzen, certainly there are some Italian restaurants where there are very good pizzas from the stone oven, the Da Mario I have not counted for years, so in recent years I have always ordered a pasta dish there. A relative of my wife lived in the Mundenheimer Straße until a few months ago, above the pizzeria, there was a chance to get there once a year, but these visits were never really enthusiastic. The Mundenheimer Straße is one of the main roads (also see main road) in Ludwigshafen and connects the districts Süd and Mundenheim. It was built in 1762 as a wide connecting road between the Rhine-chanze, Mundenheim and Mutterstadt (so-called Weinstraße). It begins in the Mundenheim district in extension of the Oberstraße, leads through the entire southern district and ends at Bleichstraße. Own parking is not available, it also does not need, in the street you can always park well, so on Friday night, we parked directly on the other side of the road. From the outside the corner of Italian makes a good impression, but in the interior everything is very tightly chaired. There are some small two tables on the windows, these were all occupied, we had reserved (Schlemmerblock condition) were allowed to choose one from two tables. We chose the one in the back corner, so we were able to follow the work behind the counter and the drive. The menus are quite clear for an Italian, pizza and pasta. Three salads. There are three meat dishes on the additional evening ticket from 17:30 . On delivery: The foods of the service provider belong to Italian cuisine and are made from fresh ingredients. For vegetarians and meat enthusiasts, the wide selection of various treats offers. Whether meat or vegetables, there's something for sure. It can be selected from 3 different types of Penne yes, that doesn't sound like Bella Italia. What made me a little stubborn that there are pizzas and stone oven pizzas. The stone oven pizzas cost a euro more. I saw a report on this on ARD, which was about the Christmas market in Munich. There was glowing wine and Palatinate glowing wine, the Palatinate cost 1.50 more, but the cameras then showed that both hoses go into a barrel (super). At the toilet walk, I'll just go behind the counter where the pasta dishes are conjured. Hygiene articles such as headdress, disposable towels and gloves (Pflicht in any kitchen) are known in the Da Mario only from the Black Forest Clinic, on the toilets you could also wet by wiping. There are still some specialties on a large table, but these must not be selected with Schlemmerblock. So you are already well adjusted to the Schlemmerblock guests. What I noticed. For the drinks there was Montepulciano or yeast beer, but from which winemaker or brewery was not in the map. And before I get an Oettinger or Paulaner Plörre served, I decide for the Montepulciano, then we should go to the Christmas market and so a Montepulciano fits perfectly to the pizza. We order 2x stone oven pizza number 74 and 81. I remember one name Tyrolean. The pizzas cost 8.90 and 9.50. In the meantime we are served small freshly baked oven rolls. These were nicely fluffy, some restraining salted, unfortunately the best all night. The Montepulciano served reminded me of our last year short vacation. At that time I had also ordered a Montepulciano when I asked for the bottle, standing on the back (filled for Norma), which was also a 1.69 Euro wine. He had neither breadth nor taste, some tasty fruit (but no berries) and much acidity (bass). The 3,10 were a great sacrifice for me. After a felt half an hour, our two pizzas came. They had a funny form, so they weren't round. A somewhat wider edge, in itself not bad when the dough tastes, and when do you see whether a pizza or pizza dough tastes or not?? No, not at first but at last bite. But this was not the case with us, for that the floor was too boring. After 5 minutes I had no desire to cut, either my knife was too blunt or the floor too dry. I then demanded olive oil to get some moisture in the pizza, no chance. Tastefully with the coating, this was quite fine, especially the Tyrolean with the very satin mascara could be eaten. On both pizzen was Parmaschinken, one had Rukola and Parmesan on top. What I missed was the tom sauce. Pizza without tomato sauce??? There were small fields red, it also stood in the map with tomato, but what I experienced here is actually a No Go. The floor was very firm, you could share the pizza and just hold the edge in the air. But that's not pizza for me. Conclusion: When we had eaten half of each, a sense of saturation came with us both. The soil was thick, but juiceless, all very dry in itself, even because no tomato sauce was to taste at all. The only positive that a pizza went to the house, but this zero pizza was not specified on the invoice, but what is in the AGB`s and what actually belongs to the invoice."

"we visited the àtable on a Friday evening at the beginning of the fair and were all satisfied.ESSEN: clearer case – the 5-course menu. it changes monthly and can be reduced to 4 or 3. it is generally francophile classic and as well as some additional à la carte dishes can always be viewed on the web page. in March 2017 was the order: 1st perlhuhnbrust cooked with vigilant, artichoke salad and trufflevinaigrette 2. jakobsmuscheln (two pieces fried) with else blood sausage (baked,) apple-sellerie salad and calvadosfoam 3. the dessert we exchanged once for tarte au citron with skybeercoulis and nougateis from the card to collect an additional impression. we shouldn't regret it...the unanimous opinion: all first class. best products, best prepared; whether fish or meat or beilagen, almost everything was enthusiastic with wonderful aromas, exact garpunkten and the corresponding optics. It was possible to overlook a somewhat stray artichoke (which would have been better than cold) or a little bit economical in one or another taste, from which one would have liked to have had a little longer in the mouth. The sizes of the portions are more than 5 passages overall but are exactly right. TRINKEN: instead of the wine-guide recommended to the menu, we combined an individual, reduced selection, which is not a problem thanks to the unusually large selection of open wines: round a dozen mainly peeled droplets offer something suitable for every taste, variable for each floor. a view through the 20 sides of regional, national and international noble pirates does not harm alike. the price range is (of course) raised, but not overcoated.SERVICE: in the best sense attentive, inexpressible, professional. in particular the weinberatung by frau bultmann is as competent as unpretentious. the two other service ladies act discreet and friendly, exemplary in timing. that they have to advise the chefin once in a question of the hospitable or the court when serving a little too fast, do not reduce the feel-good atmosphere. the telephone reservation was as friendly and accommodating as the personal, common agreement by chefin and chef. Short: from a to z a service that seeks its same.FAZIT: the ratio of price and performance was remembered the atmosphere and the ambiente during our visit very good to excellent. the àtable shows itself as oasis of hospitality in an otherwise rather less hospitable position. the city of ludwigshafen may be pleased with this gastronomic pendant, even if it does not bear a star. independent of this, one would like to see that the bultmanns (as non-pälzers) are still holding out a few years at the site, and not like the “Marly” before also wandering to mannheim, but at least not away from the Rhine-Neckar region."

"Like in January of this year there were two. As big revenge fans it was almost our duty to visit the two artists in Ludwigshafen. And as great followers of good Italian cuisine anyway. What can I say? Only when I come in this paradise of artistic accents and nuances it beats one language and it stops one of the breaths. Everything, however, is very harmonious and is probably looking for the same in Germany. Michael came directly to us and received us more than cordially. He led us around and chatted a little. You felt like home or friends and how quickly you landed. After the chat, he led us to one of the fantastically designed tables. At the table he explained to us that you would use everything without preservatives, nothing TK, no chemistry and only the best of the best products in your kitchen. In the background, italian music was heard. As an appetizer we ordered both Vittelo Tonatto. To shorten the waiting times, Michael brought us various types of bread faith that make even the bread itself, so good was that, Pesto heavenly, Kalamerti Olivinen All said, truffle butter and an olive oil in which one would have preferred to bathe, he said it was one of the best one could get. Yes here you wait quite long for his food ca. 20-25min, but that's what the cook does everything fresh and for good food you have to take some time. Besides, I'll find who's going to eat the time that MUSS doesn't care. The card changes I think weekly and is pleasantly clear always speaks for good food When you get approx. 1 week in advance, the two serve one what the heart desires! No matter what desire they fulfill it with dedication and absolute reliability! Then the Vitale Tonatto came. In short words: GRANDIOS... The organic calf, the tuna sauce to the caper Never eaten so big and good capers HIMMLICH! A Campari Orange and a bottle of Pellgrino mineral water. As the main courses we ordered Saltimbocca with fresh sage 24 months ripened procitto the parma and olive oil extra vergine, garlic and homemade Taglitali Frascati and Gnocchi the Venezia with saffron, a hint of lime, valuable spices and old peccorin as much as the aspara peelers or the knife : Since I slowly become tired from writing: WHICH THE BEST ITALIAN MAIN MADE THEY OUR GOODS REALLY! In addition, a lovely white wine Pinot Grigio superino . After the main course, the cook was right in the picture to us. He said something about his cooking and we thanked him for the 2 not of this world of Italian origins. By the way: The WC visit could not be any more: all made of marble and covered with velvet and silk, shimmering candles everywhere. I never walked such a pleasant stool before... As a dessert, we ordered Profitenelo cun ctremosen with amerena juice and cherries Sorry my italian is hundsmiserabel Wind bag filled with vanillamascarpone with amerena juice/sirup and the name-giving cherries. A Limoncello and espresso of course. We were more than satt and could not thank Michael for this culinary experience. Yes they're wondering what the fun has cost: With me it was almost 80€ and with my colleague 85€. Before you say My God how dearly remember You can also get food, such a cordiality and that the ingredients are just the best of the best, the price is justified. For good food, you have to take money in your hand. If you do this 2-3x a year, that is completely fine And we are both not top earners And that we drive over 175km disposable for the two speaks for Himself... As I said, we were there for the first time and are happy to enter this temple of Italian Trattoria cuisine at the end of October! PS: I cannot understand the 2-3 negative reviews at all..."
