"Sale e Pepe is our favorite Marco restaurant. The view, sunsets, and food are incredible. The only thing that was an issue this time was the speed of the service. We started at the bar for a drink. The Forever Young was a great balanced cocktail. Definitely recommend. We were seated and started with the burrata panzenella. It was very good, maybe a little heavy on the onion. Then we had the cacio e Pepe. A tough dish to nail, and they nailed it. Cheesy, peppery, Al dente, creamy. Fantastic. I had the lamb chops and my wife the branzino. The fish was especially good and the lamb chops were great. The only problem was the service was noticeably slow. Too long between courses and too long without a check in from the servers. I had just been a couple weeks prior without any sort of issue with timing. It was definitely excessive this this meal. While it pains my to do so, I have to be honest this time. 4 out of 5."
