"I love this place. The exterior does not do justice to the view into the interior. They would never imagine how pretty and delish this place is. Family owned and ran. I introduced this place to the locals who had no idea this was here. Some of them have tried to tell me there was no restaurant there (besides Ace Hardware). They also serve alcohol, have happy hour and made at home Agua de and at times other fruits like have had many tasty dishes and have loved each one, but yesterday we had the Carne en su Jugo, both of us LOVED it and last but not least, the Plátanos con Crema Dessert is by far my Fave from anywhere where I have them before... Whenever in the area this is my lunch place, especially when I take a customer. These pictures come from my first visit, I had to live the Rajas con Crema and Yuuup them to the name. I'm sorry for the many other restaurants in the area I've sponsored, but you can't blame me "

"This place is my place for lunch Peruvian food. It has an excellent lunch. I'm getting the best. It is well cooked and has the right balance of chicken to fried tomatoes. It comes with the green sauce, which is also great. Just wish them to give 2 because the portion size is large. You also get a salad or soup on the side. The salad has a vinegary green dressing that makes the palate well. The lunch special also comes with a drink. Huge portions, great taste and good price. Can't ask for more."

"If you want authentic greek food, this is the place. I grew up near Astoria Queens, so I am aware of quality and authentic greek delicacies. I absolutely love their salad, their platters like the bifteki and their grilled chicken platter. We just keep coming back! "Great place! My friend and I came to Brunch on Sunday. I had the berry pancakes. It was good. The dishes served here are simple, but they are good. Our service was great. Our food came out so fast. Our server was attentive and friendly. Please note that this place is closed at 3 pm. The restaurant is also quite small inside. It was very packed when we arrived, but we sat right away. Finally, everything was good. We'll be back soon!"

"Recommended as having great pizza and they definitely do; there's two different styles, wood oven and regular and the wood oven pizza is legit. We ordered the fried seafood appetizer and it was hot crispy and fantastic. All the pasta dishes we've tried have also been really great. This is an Italian gem in Maywood, highly recommended."

"Ordered for lunch and they gave me day old chicken. Everyone knows how chicken tastes when it's reheated and that is what they gave me. This was their 2nd chance. Last time I went to this location for lunch again I Ordered a chicken Philly and again the chicken tasted old.. not only that but it made me throw up within an hr of eating it. Today was the last straw. They need to raise their standards of what to serve people. It's disappointing and disgusting"

"I ordered from door dash with heavy prayers that this food would be good and what a waste of money! I ordered veggie fried dumplings that looked burnt and came with this red sweet sauce that looked weird and tasted funny the spring rolls were ok but also had a strange dipping sauce that I’ve never had at any Thai restaurant before. "I've eaten there for the first time today. will probably not be back. First, the room was very cold, second, I ordered a glass of Chardonnay when it came, it was with Fizziness, the waitress said that Chardonnay was always fizzy. You fool your customers. the customer usually knows what he's talking about. I asked her to take it back. she then offered a glass of Pinot Grigio. So I said yes. I know your client isn't wine drinkers, but you should have really more choices than a small fridge full of other things next to the bar. Ugh. "Great food and micheladas... I highly recommend this place. Once you arrive there, order and pay inside when you eat there, give you a number that you have a seat and wait for your food. Only the proposal I have is that employees visit customers outside and offer everything else. I would have grabbed a few drinks, but I didn't want to go and pay while I left my food in the table... no one ever came out to check out as soon as the food was delivered."

"So my wife ordered cheese pizzas and she also likes her garlic knots. I love their pizza because it tastes this style of the family home that the big chains are often missing. When I walk in, I have the sense that this place is deeply used in the community. There was a birthday party and some locals came in and knew the names of the cashier. It felt secret and friendly. "This is one of the great locations that Nelson himself operates, including the best McDonald’s in the area. Management is really great. New friendly faces. And let's not forget the amazing food. "This Burger King is quite dirty, with too many intoxicated individuals loitering under the trees nearby. The area is neglected, with broken shields and litter scattered around, making it clear that the city of Maywood doesn’t seem to have a street sweeper, as the walkways are in poor condition. Additionally, the parking lot has become a spot for overnight parking for many local residents. The city needs to address this issue, as the sheriff seldom checks on the activity happening in the parking lot."

"This review was from a visit on 10-14-22 , We went to visit my dad to Los Angeles, and I was craving some mariscos. My dad said that his coworker had recommended this place, so we decided to try it. I will say that the Shrimp Ceviche is really good, but everything was not that great. The other good thing was the horchata. My dad ordered the Cumarones barberos and the waitress told us they didn't have that, we also wanted a side of beans for my husband's entree and the server said they didn't have beans. My dad ended up ordering the Camarones culichi and they were ok. The worst part of the meal was the server. The server was really rude, and we felt rushed the whole time. I will definitely not be coming back to this place. Parking is not that great at this place as well."

"Came here for the first time, I was excited to try out the food. I found this place on Instagram so I decided to stop by. I ordered my food and the cashier told me it would be about 30 min wait. I started to become impatient because 50 min had went by and my food was still not ready. I finally got my food after waiting longer than expected. I ordered the Carne asada pizza and it was really good. I was impressed. I really enjoyed the food. I'll definitely be coming back again. I gave it 4 star because I had to wait longer than expected."

"This place is great. When you go first, the place looks small, but there are actually 3 other areas that a din in, another bar where live music can play, and a top floor for parties. I went on Thanksgiving eve and the place was crowded, but good cause the live music they played on that day really helped make this a place I liked. Even better was on Wednesday night (I think after 8 or 9) they have happy hour, which is $3 every drink. I was blown away that they did this every Wednesday and I died to go back since I found out. Definitely stop a place when you hang out a cool place"

"Came in to try a new place regretted it. Service was terrible, the cashier lady was rude doesn't even know her own menu when I questioned it. The inside was so dead, no color nor does it call attention. I ordered carne asada, it was white, chewy, and tasted horrible. My partner got the chicken and it wasn't great either. Sucks to have wasted our money here."

The pick up parking is very visible to the front desk is at (which it looked like the whole staff was chillin there doing nothing then had to go inside to pick up my curbside pick up : good job guys.
