"I seldom give 2 stars but this rating hits it on the nose. The food is edible and did not get me sick. The air is blasting loud NOT with AC but with obnoxious radio commercials and uh music . How absolutely clueless...or is it stupidity?...does the management there have to be to think that loud blaring radio commercials is a pleasant pairing to a beer and burrito? At least the offensive oratory onslaught is bilingual. So bone-up on you Spanish skills. (whatever, check out CuisineQuest on youtube if you are a person of quality, graciass)."

"We love this place! We come to South Beach once a year and this is the one restaurant we come back to. The tasting menu is amazing more than enough but too delicious to pass up. If you are not going for the tasting menu, you MUST order the polenta! It’s worth the trip"

"Celebrate our 28. Wedding day there after you have heard positive reviews from family and friends. Reviewed the Chill Vibe, sophisticated without pretension, with an ambience that allows both romantic cosiness and pleasant conversation. The bartender also liked the easy to go setting and honest cocktail suggestions. The menu offers interesting Filipino dishes and the presentation exquisite. Recommend sampling from the appetizer list. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. Be ready to spend when you come hungry and park service is the only realistic option, but this is typical of a Miami Beach restaurant of this calibre. We will be back (especially when they take part in Miami Spice again...."

"I want to live here. I read the reviews and chose this place and it lived until the hype. I just don't know why everyone didn't score it with 5 stars. that's worth it in my book. I had the lamb chops and babaganush. there was no reiskor that remained on my teller when I was finished. it was all cooked with any ignorant love that is obvious at this place. the chefs welcomed me and the waitress we are very attractive, attentive and accommodating. if they are a fan of the middle sea, they can not come to south beach and do not eat in the safron grill. it would be a mortal sin upon which the holy petrus would certainly be fought."

"Outstanding service, taste, value, ambience. I was a little nervous because I read some bad reviews, but my husband and I had an amazing time. There is no dress code listed on the website but we did a little Google search and found out that the dress code is beach casual. We were even a little too dressed up, me wearing a sundress and he in shorts and flip-flops. People were walking around in swimsuits, walked into the restaurant directly and from off the beach so if you’re nervous about what to wear I would say one of your nicer swimsuits and a nice cover-up that you could remove later. The amazing Sunday brunch was the perfect end to our vacation. Eddie gave us excellent service, the people at the stations making food were so polite and friendly, everyone inside at the buffet was also very welcoming and so were the bus boys walking around the beach as we were eating. out of experience, would definitely go again"

"absolutely amazing everywhere! we got the grilled calamari to begin and the risotto and crab ravioli for our meal, and finished with the dessert sampler for two and a few cappuccinos for dessert. eating was absolutely exquisite! it really warmed my heart that the owner was very involved, from welcoming the guests at the front to check on all. the service was also some of the best we got in south beach and all were very warm and friendly and made us welcome and take care (I feel that the addition in the lucks that most businesses have in south beach has taken the incentive for good service in most facilities. I would come back 100% and recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone who is in the opposite and wants a beautiful evening. at the end of the evening we went back to the hotel and the owner even offered us a return. very sweet, and absolutely wonderful people."

"We have a condo in SOBE and usually stay on Ocean Drive to eat. We ventured over to Washington to see what new has opened and saw Kalamata.What a great choice. This Greek restaurant is quaint and nicely set up with a bar and outdoor seating. The atmosphere was really nice but the service was over the top.We enjoyed the food and the ambiance and the waitress came over and talked to us about the restaurant and the chef. There is another Greek restaurant in the area but the service is just ok. This is my recommendation if and when your looking for Greek food.Had the Salmon and the Chicken shish kabobs also the hummus and Turkish tea after the meal."

"We had the price fixed lunch plus an order of calamari. One lamb, one salmon and dorada with lemon and capers. To start we had Greek salads and Greek dip. For desert the Greek yogurt with honey and it was a birthday so we got the chocolate mousse cake. Everything was super delicious. The price for lunch is reasonable. We loved it. But, I would not go here for dinner since the prices are absurd. Lunch was fantastic and the patio seating was great"

"Made the trip over to Surfside from Miami Lakes. I needed a pastrami fix being a recent retiree in Miami I heard that Josh does a great pastrami sandwich! Small cute spot, very short menu, open kitchen, very good service! So I ordered the spicy tuna laktas. Very interesting tasty! A unique dish! I prefer pastrami cut thick , fatty juicy so I had to settle for thin sliced pastrami on a Reubenized sandwich! Being from Philly, NY DC I've eaten my share of classic pastrami sandwichs! Josh's was a decent version but not my favorite! For the masses it's a winner! Overall Josh's deli is a good stop in the midst of overpriced, mediocre food restaurants on Harding Ave in Surfside!"

"I have the meatball sub, which is amazing and it is worth repeating! also the Yucca bites were great. service was fantastic. the ruck tempeh sandwich was a bit dry, but still great with added sauce, the mac was decent and the cheesecake was pretty good! it tasted much like berries, but not as much as cheesecake. a great experience and a nice restaurant!"

"I wanted to like this place but everything I had was very disappointing. I ordered the spiced mussels, half dozen of oysters, and scallops. The scallops I had to send back because they were very over cooked. The oysters and mussels were definitely underwhelming but I went ahead ate them… big mistake. Less than 2 hours I was bringing it all back up. My friends both enjoyed their meals, so maybe I picked the wrong items on the menu. The employees are very nice but I can’t overlook getting sick because of the food."
