"they do not recommend that this place. never. we received our 2 dozen fantasies, and they were pure teigballs and the frosted were packed and shattered on the head. not sure if we are ever back. it needs a certain terrible service to actually pack the donuts that throw them down in frost. all hanging on the box and not edible. we have ordered every week here, but we will not be anymore. disappointed that they say to their good customers on a busy day that they don't need them. made point."

"so wonderful to visit a nostalgic restaurant that has authentic character, class, hospitality through the dach, classic entertainment and eating that reminds them how to use the dinge when everything they have ordered was delicious, old favorite and new twists. natalie our server was first class along with her bus driver (unfortunately not on the name) . the owner comes through the dining room with a warm smile, handshake and a real “host with most” personality. we have booked tomorrow! if we live here, we would never leave! thank you. sardine factory for a very unforgettable experience!"

"the ruler I think was called shake? was a very nice gentleman and got us a table in fast order, the server I think was called gustavo was a very informative and attentive server that gave us the sequence of everything they serve, and what is popular and his personal favorite and he does not disappoint. the food was so delicious and well prepared, in any case again. I like the atmosphere and the classic 50s music art a romantic atmosphere with candlelight and at the end of eating they give them a rose, as thoughtful, this is a perfect place for a date with their important others. for the people who have children, this place does not allow children or children's car, so simply pre-warned, this is only for adults. If they have children, I want to eat something similar, they can probably go down to the fish hopper as they are in the possession of the same people and eating is also fantastic there."

"That had the best seafood... Fish n Chips (I had this dish from many places on the coast from Fort Bragg to San Diego) was perfectly fried and did not feel too heavy or greasy. Service was excellent! From the search for the menu and the search for other options they were reasonable in price and the maître d' offered a free appetizer and the last window seat (Freakin DOPE). The server (like a reincarnation by Dean Martin gave my children a small Abalone scarf and told them where to look for sardines and even otters, seals had to see. They were on the point and very attentive to refilling. Food came surprisingly fast and was fresh from the grill and from the fryer. The waiter informed me (on the question why I recognized the ship and crew images from the baths) that they knew their King Crab from the 'Time Bandit' ya from Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel. He also pointed out that the ships in the port receive other seafood. Oh and Tiramisu was probably the best I had."

"A delicious, all vegan, no frills Mexican restaurant. The menu is robust, with more than enough choices for multiple visits. The space is small, with just a handful of tables, so be prepared for a wait on popular nights. Paper plates and napkins along with compostable plasticy utensils are the vibe. I came in a Tuesday around 6pm (the week between Xmas and NYE), and they were slammed lots of people waiting for dine in orders and perhaps more for to go. We had a ~30 minute wait for our plates to come out. But the food was worth the wait all delicious and flavorful (although the Chile relleno was the spiciest I've ever had, and the fish taco had an intense spice that snuck up on me. My mouth was on fire from both of those in Combo #4)"

"The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere for a waterfront lunch. The food was decent considering the prices. The curry sauce on the mussel appetizer was delicious, but the cioppino was lacking flavor for $41. The service was outstanding, and my friend enjoyed their birthday celebration, complete with a complimentary chocolate presentation. However, I felt the menu was a bit limited."

"The combination of food in this restaurant was so weird and probably the worst. they served us chicken pakora with mango puree, who even eats chicken with mango puree? we would have understood if it was the traditional mango pickle but it was literally mango puree. And about the biryani, it was the worst biryani i have ever had. the biryani was soggy, and it looked like as if they mixed some gravy with steamed rice and served us and there was no sign of caramelised onion.My 14 years old niece can cook better biryani than i ate in this restaurant."

"This place made one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and they had gluten free bread! While it is so busy, I think it would be hard to make sure that the sandwiches were 100 safe for celiac, for me it was good. The sandwiches are enormous. My whole thing was actually two of a normal sandwich for me, so it was a lot. The guy at the checkout is also a funny character. Nice guy, great food, good price."

"the best place on the kai! dinks were on the spot! I had to start the monterey mai thai and fresh oysters. my escape was a fish filled with fish, creamy penne pasta! it was saw-tasty. like seafood! we ended up sharing with a cream bubble for us. they're hitting the place. one of the best seafood patas I had for a long time. 10/10 would recommend"

"denny’s: you know how it is. you do not go to denny’s, you end up in the rule on a denny’s, undoubtedly by alcohol, hard drug, bad business or a combination of these factors. denny’s is a 2nd bad decision, seen through the nebula of cheap cigarette smoke and surrounded by the suspicious people. this denny’s is really nice! I had an all-American slam with a side of pancakes, with coffee and abi. eating was freshly brought out, and I swear the portions were larger than normal. the coffee was hot and fresh, and my cup was refilled regularly. the service was so beautiful, I could almost imagine a white bed linen tablecloth if it wasn't for the claw machine game right next to mine. I have no real Denny's experience, no care: when I arrived, the guy behind the theke told me apologetically that he couldn't sit me because he had no cooking, then stopped abruptly, pointed behind him on a motorized rust piece that was just dressed and never said anything! this is our manager there was also the guy in camo, with an 8 hunting knife on his belt. 10/10 for the experience of a boujee denny."

"the atmosphere was really beautiful; I love the big windows! the server was really attentive and friendly; she'll come in a bed to check if we need anything. eating was great, I think it was the best mozzarella stick I had (the size was so big, though). the black garnel salad was also quite brilliant; I love the grapefruit and the pistachio combination as they add a unique taste to the salad. I actually came here for the duck pizza because I had eaten one after the other. I never had such a pizza; besides bone there was jam on the pizza. the sweet of the jam fits perfectly to the duck. although it was a bit expensive, but the restaurant has placed a generous portion meat on the pizza. I want to look at this place again."

"I ordered the vegan sur. It was about $18 for a 12 inch. Good size. When I ordered, I mentioned twice that I wanted it without mushrooms. We ordered and my husband got him pizza slices about 5 minutes after sitting. He finished both and I was waiting for my pizza. After 25 minutes I asked about it and they said it was ready in 5 minutes. Pizza came and it was covered with mushrooms. I told them I was allergic and asked for no one and the girl excused and said the guy to add extra Portobello to the pizza. I had the feeling it would happen because the guy seemed almost lost when I didn't say mushrooms. No biggie, mistakes happen. So they had to give the pizza back and it took another 20 minutes. So it was 50 minutes waiting for my pizza. The staff was nice, but for a Tuesday with not too many people in him, it seemed ridiculous to wait so long. They let us keep the first pizza for free, which was nice of them, so my husband can eat it during the week. The pizza came and it looked pretty good. I was a little disappointed when I ate it. It was missing from Marinara sauce, but I was glad that it was not overloaded with vegan cheese like many places. If this happens vegan pizzas tend to be very gummy and this pizza was not gummy at all. I might ask for a marinara on the side to dip it because it was kind of dry. Pepperoni and sausage was good and garlic was delicious. Crust was beautiful too. However, I don't think this pizza is worth the 50-minute waiting period and over $18 after tax. It really tasted like a slightly raised oven pizza. But it was good. It just doesn't seem worth the price and wait. In my opinion, Blaze Pizza in the marina has a much better vegan pizza and vegan cheese bread with delicious Marinosauce for about half the price."

"The food has always been amazing. I have come here to eat every time we visit Monterey and never had I had this type of service. Ordering was easy. But staff weren't cleaning or preparing tables to service customers. Whe we finally got a table and after waiting an hour for the pizza I had to hunt people down to get plates and after I told him he still took a good 20 minutes. That was crazy."
