"The Ambience is Romantic. The service was really fast and great. Our waiter was very nice. We had the Lobster Salad as a starter. It was fine. However, the star of the dinner was the Duck breasts, meduim rare, which was exquisite. The meat would just melt in your mouth, and it's perfectly paired with some maple syrup sauce. We topped it off with an awesome lime pie ?. Very pleasant experience. Recommended."

"I spent $470 on a Christmas celebration dinner for 2. I left with a lingering bad feeling for spending this kind of money after receiving such poor service. Drinks appetizers were good, but all went steeply downhill after waiting 1/2 hr for entrees....My Surf Turf fillet Mignon was cooked to the size of an Oreo Cookie. (No exaggeration. due to the wait and no waiters in sight, I regrettably did not return it. After another 1//2 hr wait to order coffee dessert, we gave up got our check. We now wonder if the poor service was due to the restaurant being busy or if the 5-6 police at the restaurant entrance when we were leaving. What is no mystery is that I will not return to what used to be called a “Clip Joint”"

"It was a great experience. A lot of creativity on the food, which we came from. The gastronomic experience would have been outstanding (5/5) if it wasn't for the little extra salty taste in the desert and in another one of the Degustation dishes. The salty taste was camouflaging the awesomeness of the dishes. But this I believe is very easy to correct. Other than this, it's an excellent place for foodies because the meals are uniques, creatives well presented. A special note for the focaccia bread that is addictive!"

"I had a reservation for June 26 that I cancelled. They claimed I didn't have a reservation for June 26. They called me on July 3 claiming that I didn't cancel a reservation for July 3. We left Montreal on June 29 as per our...itinerary. Failing to understand in the phone call that I would not have made a reservation for July 3, four days after I left Montreal they charged my credit card $100. Now I have to dispute the charge on my credit card, which I am pretty sure will be reserved. What a shame. I have been there every time I go to Montreal. Now it is apparent that are are desperate for money. Why would a business alienate a customer, disgrace their reputation and jeopardize future business for $100? Beware."

I found the coleslaw with a scavenging was only average tasting, and I didn't even finish it. burger: 8/10 koleslaw: 5/10"

"At first glace into the resto it gave me such cute, cozy chalet vibes it's so darn cute! The experience: I can say, it's nothing like I've ever felt before. Going from light to completely pitch black was kinda scary, you can actually feel your...other senses trying to adjust to find the normalities that they're use too. I loved the concept of no phones, it really helped everyone get into the whole ambiance of things without having any lights break the experience. And it also reinforced my sense of taste. It was really fun to try and guess what we were eating and what flavours and spices were used in the dish. For an entree they served a quinoa salad (I normally don’t like quinoa but oddly this had a light Mediterranean taste. I had the beef which was well cooked with a Smokey mashed potatoe, jelly asparagus and beets. For dessert I took the cream brûlée, it had a nice holiday feel turns out it was a kid of rosemary and tea. The service was great from start to finish. All the waiters at the bar and in the dark room are Bilingual and amazing! I would definitely comeback and try the different dishes you guys have to offer!"

"I am flexitarian, so I eat meat very rarely, but I tell them this place is worth it. my family and I all took different plates to try as many things as possible. dad had the braised beef shoulder that had an INCREDIBLE sauce and. the bark was super tender! I had the meat plowers and everything was from this world. my favorites were the dessert that was melted in the mouth, the porridge and the kartoffel salad that was the best I ever had and I have tried many! my mother had the special thing about the day that was a lamb brain cake with mushroom carrots, and it came with a gravitation salad. excellent! Finally, my brother had the bangers and mash. the available sausage was white wine and crumbled and it was unbelievable! for a culinary experience at a slightly higher price I really recommend this place. I will definitely go back for special events. very attentive and quick service."

"We were looking for a good vegetarian restaurant on a recent visit to Montreal and Lola Rosa was a wonderful surprise. (I had been doing a google search for lunch on our way down the mountain . It was a convenient stop on our walk from...Mont Royal to our hotel. The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. We ordered the black bean burger and the burrito. We each ate half of the dish then switched so we could experience both. Although the burger was delicious, we both commented the burrito was superior and are still talking about it a week later. Even if you are not a vegetarian, you should try this place."

"A somewhat 'hidden ' restaurant in an out-of-the-way alley that will get you away from the tourists. Once you find it, the atmosphere is chic yet welcoming. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the menu offered a variety of plates we would have liked to...have tried. We had a bottle of wine, starters, entrees, and dessert. All that we ordered was good. The surroundings, music, service, food; everything made for a lovely evening. I would recommend Le Serpent to anyone looking for a nice dinner in Montreal."

Saturday evening! we first have the vitello tonato omg this dish was so cool full of decoration very small and 3 small and transparent vitello that they need an optical glasses. and we then have 5 teller about no child without dinner we have the cheese cake that I need to ask 3 times, and after 40 minutes finally arrive we also have 5 different dishes to finally find the plate of canard so that we finally found this very cool. do not think that my baby was without eating and the waitress approached me to ask my daughter to close her ipod. I was frustrated, but I have my friends that I was very happy to see them again because if I dessert and describe the time. after over 550$ tips in 4 people in a very small restaurant whiteout light almost and they want to eat so and not exactly the person next to them see or what they put in their mouth ok this is the perfect restaurant that I have so many restaurants in montreal an toronto for so many years visit, we don't really care about the price, but if the eating was good I haven't reacted my time of this absolutely acceptable restaurant that is"

"The service was simply amazing. Great service and wonderful vibes. The place has a beautiful Atmosphere and music. Unfortunately, very very very disappointed with the food. Other than the feta plate, nothing was worth the price or worth the place in general. "we had a reservation and arrived on time. we were shown to a small table that relied on a living table of four other diners. we asked to sit at another place, as there was a series of sensible empty tables. after a lot...testing and convincing we were actually allowed to sit somewhere else. the starters arrived immediately and were in order. we had to clear our own starter plates out of the way when the main courses arrived. they were barely warm as they were obviously left standing in the kitchen. my spaghetti for example was quite controversial and solid. we decided to get out of desserts, but my double espresso that was made remained on the counter for an old one. so much, the barmann voluntarily made a new one when the waiting staff always ignored it. all this, and the polite waitress was surprised when I didn't leave a tip. they make one like: eat them elsewhere."

"we have constantly checked the king to open for the day we were in montreal, as they are very difficult to come, go into the are not a thing here. hours in advance, we saw a 7 o'clock open reservation and snore it. the host greeted us overwhelming and told us we should have a lottery ticket for the happiness that we get this reservation, we sat at the top bar, but that was worth it. Reservations are 2 hours to dinner, as we were at the bar we were on drinks and apps, cocktails were delicious and fast, service was exceptional and our cold starters were delivered almost instantly. weeds and ceviche were all delicious! there was a short Burlesque show bout 8:30 watch that was so much fun to watch, it was down but we had an amazing look at the balcony. the women's bath is located at the lower end of a steep staircase, so be careful! we went around 9 and went to a late evening dinner elsewhere, but do not regret our visit in this beautiful location and will return so that 9 o'clock evening reservations far in advance!"

"that was my first time to eat here. very trendy, great place for only drinks, as they have a lot of different alcohols, so they can do what they want or they can suggest a drink. we started with the charcuterie platter, very nice, so many. different types of home made meat. great start. we chose plates for sharing, loved it when we were 4 people, and in the position to try different plates was amazing. everything was very good, the aromen were there. we had 8 tellers that we shared, risotto, bark tars, gnocchi, all excellent. thanks for a wonderful dinner. the place and the personal are top. much fun."
