"we went through the forests and across the island west of the mülheimer center. it was the first really hot day of the spring (speaking of and after the long walk we were looking for something fresh and light. the fatamorgana (different from. what the name means) was an unexpected place to stop. as a starter we took a basing (aubergine in tomaten and garlic soup, which was a little but not too much spicy) and a laban (fresher cheese with gurken and garlic) in combination with typical arabian brot. light and fresh. for drinking we chose mumie and sawara alcohol-free cocktails that are not listed in the online menu) which was nice to see, refreshing and really suitable for the sunny day we had. as main dish we took falafel (veggie bohnenbälle) and gambas (spicky garnelen with peperoni and a little salat). both dishes had a bite (who was written in the menu? do not remember) and if they don't eat too much, simply skip the appetizers because for me that was enough (obious not for my bf). at the end of lunch the owners gave us a dessert and a dark tee with mint. I can't describe the dessert: I never eat anything like before, but I guess it was a kind of yogurt with baklawa, chocolate and sponge cake. the food was really delicious, refreshing and well tasted: nothing is left on the dish! the service was nice and the owners friendly. what is probably missing is a little more description on the menu, but the overall experience was really good."

"Conclusion Recommended. We still know the mouse trap under previous possession and have to say that both kulinar and service have done something right. Very positive we noticed the super friendly service and the more appealing kitchen. A beautiful evening and we definitely come back. Top service. We haven't been so friendly and natural for a long time. We were accompanied to the table, the cards were handed out directly, drinks were taken up and distributed throughout the evening we were always very attentive and inexpressible. What was very amazed to us that my partner was recognized as a left-handed and was therefore also covered. Really great and so please. The menu was clear and maybe a little too small. 1-2 other main dishes would be nice. All in all, however, is really fine and makes a higher impression than the previous owners. We ordered an asparagus cream soup to 5,50 euros and baked goat cheese to 7,50 euros. The asparagus soup was very good and also the goat cheese with supplements was appealing. Unfortunately, it was apparently forgotten to bake one side of the second goat cheese piece and therefore it came a bit too cool. Tastefully but super and well tuned. Main dishes consisted of beef roulade with claws and red cabbage at 16,00 euros and a lemon risotto at 14,00 euros. Unfortunately, the red cabbage came a little underheated (but still warm) and the sauce to the roulette could wear a bit less salt. But... all within and not worthy of complaint. The selection of wines is also fine. Small but exquisite selection. We really like the atmosphere very well. Because the restaurant is on several levels, the rooms are small and cozy. The tables were covered in simple and beautiful white with many small details that create a beautiful ambience. We would like a fabric nap instead of a better paper napkins"
