"Rated 3.5 stars, this cozy restaurant offers a great view away from the crowds in Göreme, located in the small village of Cavusin. While still catering to tourists, the shops and restaurants here have a more local feel. During a day of touring Cappadocia, my group stopped here for lunch and chose from a set menu. We started with fresh and delicious lentil soup, salad, yogurt dip, tomato dip, and pickled vegetables. The dishes were prepared right in front of us in the kitchen. For the main course, I tried the vegetable casserole, a simple yet tasty mix of eggplant, tomato, and other vegetables served with rice. I also sampled the manti, Turkish ravioli with tiny hand-folded dumplings and a touch of meat, topped with yogurt and a spicy sauce. The dessert, tel kadayif, a phyllo pastry with syrup, was very sweet but a true representation of Turkish sweets. Overall, a flavorful dining experience in a charming setting."
