"The food was good. I loved the sweet potato fries! The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable about items on the menu, and more importantly was able to let us know how great a particular beer was. Loved the Montgomery breweries triple berry beer. "If you want fresh ham, sausage, steak and top of the line eggs, this is the place. The pancakes are sooo moist and fluffy. When I lived in Montgomery, this was by far my favorite place to eat breakfast and there were 20 bucks for both of us. So reasonable, I'll go back, just to eat here soon."

"We enjoy the casual atmosphere during our visits. The monthly menu specials are fun to consider. The food has been consistently good regardless of what is ordered. Funny thing is we like the small dinner salads. Good dressings on the side. If you like blue cheese dressing, as I do, it's quite good. The thing keeping us from five stars is the hosts and servers generally just go through the motions. They are competent, but generally don't appear to enjoy their work. Maybe it's lack of staffing, one bad apple affecting morale, or someone in leadership failing to team build. Wish the staff was enjoying their work more so there was some positive energy beyond the TV sets."

"I had a great experience at this restaurant until this evening. I was served by a woman named Rileigh. First of all, when she was preparing my sandwich, she just squished the turkey into a ball on the bread, never asked if I wanted it toasted, and overall seemed quite grumpy and unfriendly."

"our family loves to go to fishtale for a good meal. I love that they have large round tables that fit our whole family. we went on a Sunday after the church and it was occupied for the amount of workers on the hand. I think our server was overwhelmed, but she did very well among the circumstances. the food was like always....especially the vomacka suppe! my favorite! although many in my family liked the haystack burger and were looking forward to order it, but it was removed from the menu! would like to see it again!"

"Food tasted good although it made me extremely sick for the rest of the night. The bartender we had “V” was being very rude and was coming across very condescending and didn’t seem to always care about the costumers. Other workers were excellent and nice and extremely forgiving but never going back ever again after dealing with that one bartender and getting sick."
