"Unbelievable! This local secret found by a friend and definitely not disappointed. The food is so fresh, healthy and well prepared I think it could eat every day. Honestly could have been the gyro I've ever had. There is also a Middle East market with items that you cannot find anywhere else in Charleston; Turkish dried olives, several different types of zataar, spiced paprika flakes, Arabic pimples... we have taken a few things home and cannot wait to go back. 10/10!"

"The service is laughable. Ordered an appetizer 10 minutes before ordering dinner, our food runner said to cancel it when delivered our dinner. Our server came over a few minutes later and told us that Bretzel(app) was their fault. It appeared at the table after we were ateing and ready to order dessert, since 1 or my 3 children's meals came with ice cream. Order his ice cream and then share a dessert for the other two. The waitress came back with children's ice cream and the check. A few minutes later, she came back and asked if everything was okay. I told her we were waiting for the other dessert. 10 minutes later we told her to quit dessert. I was accused of Bretzel that we didn't want to. I left the dessert and now on my way home with an angry child because he didn't get a dessert. That means the manager was absent. Terrible!"

"I am from washington state where there are many fine restaurants that are proud with their seafood dishes. I'm staying in south carolina for work and close to the bone fish grill and would like to say that her eating was amazing! I had the cod imperial that is pictured and the lily chicken. both were excellent! I just sat on the bar and chico the bar is also amazing. very courteous, personable and seems to be a great person! I recommend this restaurant, great atmosphere and the brot is also delicious."

"Have eaten here many times and will many more. The food-especially the wings, burgers and brunch are awesome! Service is good too. "The food and service was phenomenal. Went at lunch time and despite the fact they were busy we had really great service. (The appetizer of deviled eggs was so tasty I forgot to take a picture first so it actually comes with four halves). Also their version of Arnold Palmer was absolutely perfect! The food was perfectly seasoned and portions were shareable so we could both taste each other's selections. We revisited this gem with the kiddos this time and the peach tea is amazing we also had a chance to try the kids meals and the portions were filling they couldn't eat it all! My daughter even commented how busy it was but they had great customer service because the waitress kept checking in on us."

"I don’t like to give one star but since I can’t try any items, I have no choice. I’m currently sitting in our car, in the parking lot with our dog next to me. We thought we could enjoy a nice lunch outside while on a business trip but nope. NO dogs allowed and it’s posted everywhere. I sure hope one bad apple didn’t ruin it for everyone because there are ways to allow well behaved dogs only. I told my husband to go inside and check it out anyway. They do not serve a full menu until 4 pm. They also did not have any Amber’s or Red Ales. There is a lot of free parking. Would not go back."

"Pulled into the shopping center to shop, we seen the sign for the best burgers in town. As always we have to try the best burger in town. Okay, so the sign was correct. The burgers are excellent. Cooked to perfection. The battered shrimp are also very good. Even the service was excellent. The server/bartender her name is Sarah I hope I have the correct spelling of her name, if not I do apologize. Sarah is awesome, she is very energetic and personable. She has a very beautiful spirit about her. The do offer a full menu. The prices are very reasonable. Sorry for not including photos like I usually do but we do highly recommend Smokey's Place for a really good burger. So if you find yourself in the neighborhood that includes all of the truck drivers that stay at the Pilot truck stop you should stop in at Smokey's Place for a real home cooked meal. As always enjoy yourself and please have safe travels America"

"Our experience was not the best, we had to wait and wait for everything. When our soup came, appetizers were cold, we had to send them back and wait and wait. We were greeted and supported by a nearby server (which was not our server), got us drinks and tracked our server down and checked the problems. Her name was Hannah!!! Such a great person and server! Our meals finally came 2 hours after we sat first, just to be cold. Finally, my son, who was the birthday boy sweet 16, asked a manager. The manager came by, had fired our meals again and cared for us. Hannah was great with all her customers, us and other customers around us."

My only complaint is that they frequently change their menu and prices, but I understand that it's just a business decision and not specific to this location. "we decided to give this restaurant an attempt because it continued from the city and traffic was so bad, we could not go back to the city when we tried. we arrived at about 4:15 o'clock and sit right now! our dinner didn't take too long to prepare, and when we got our meal, we were so excited! I ordered the seafood sample and it was my favorite meal throughout our trip! he ordered a crabcake sandwich, I think. it was heavenly! our waitress was very friendly! we split the pecan pie with butter pecan ice cream and it was very, very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits charleston!"

"Happy Cinco de Mayo all! My first, so we decided at LA Hacienda. We couldn't have decided better. We're right, don't wait, and our table was at the bar and the singers who sang us. "Was really excited to try this place, but rather disappointed and not expected to return. The first attempted yesterday (Saturday) morning to visit, but the waiting time and previous reviews of overwhelming us discouraged from staying. Today again tried (Sunday) and was immediately sat what was great. We knew what we wanted from the morning, so we went ahead and ordered as soon as we set ourselves what was 9:52. Waiting for some time before we started a little antsy on our food this was at 10:40. Finally, about 10:50 half of the table was served (supplier of 4). Portions looked a little small, but they were also starving at this point their food was good. Waited 13 minutes for the other 1 of 2 participants at this time the other 2 were finished with their meal. (The meal that came out was at best room temperature). The food runner then asked which dish was missing (Buzzed Donut) came another 4 minutes later with the donut, which burned to a crack and hard like a rock. Saw it down and left. At last, the server came back to check how everything was immediately mentioned that something was wrong with the donut he had agreed with. I thought I could eat the hash browns when I waited? at that time everyone was finished at the table with their meal. Finally, 11 minutes later, I'll hand over another Buzzed Donut that looks right. Tasteful, but again was super hungry at this point. Server apologizes what we understand that things happen, but clearly the kitchen was overrun this morning and unfortunately a not so great first experience. Also was not enthusiastic about the comment that was told us by?sometimes when the kitchen gets to do, they need to sacrifice the quality for speed to get orders?. Not something that customers like to hear about their less than high-quality meal. No discounts were offered on the given order or longer than normal waiting times we had to get. Overall not impressed and won?t come back."
