"Seit Jahren kommen wir immer wieder zu Kostas. Irgendwie hat der Laden schon Kult-Status und man wäre enttäuscht wenn sich was verändern würde. Auch die Kleinigkeiten die man ändern könnte hat man lieb gewonnen. Begrüßt wirst du als Freund natürlich mit Handschlag. Den lockeren Spruch bekommst du oben drauf. Das Essen ist super - die Platte für zwei mega und preislich völlig in Ordnung. Nicht der beste Grieche in der Stadt, aber ein schöner Abend bei gutem Essen ist auch was wert."

"Searching for Cannelloni while in town. This dish used to be on the menu in every Italian restaurant in Germany, but over the years it has become harder and harder to find. So imagine my delight when I saw it on the menu. For those that are not familiar with this dish, it consists of meatfilled pasta tubes that are topped first with a tomato sauce and then with cheese. This is oven baked and served piping hot... Yes you will burn you mouth and fingers, but it's worth it. I did enjoy this bubbling hot mess. Washed in down with a nice Aperol Spritz to cool me down a little. The menu is extensive, service friendly and it is conveniently located along a subway route. Well worth a visit."

"It was fair in Nuremberg, all hotels booked out and even in most restaurants there was nothing without reservation. This Osteria is located near the main railway station in a side street and I think you need to know the place already because there is no advertising here, except the two, three hotels next door! The tables are relatively narrow. There is a standard menu and as usual a table with daily dishes. Unfortunately it took a while to order our drinks and also the table with the daily offers came very late. We got up to see it. The house wine Pinot Grio was a half-litre flat to EUR 10.90 and so I changed to a Luganer 0.2 l EUR 5,50. A bottle of water beats here with EUR 5,30. After the day of the fair we had only the pleasure of a main dish and chose Spaghetti Frutti di Mare at EUR 12.50 FRUTTI DI MARE Lachs Salmone Pepe Rosa at EUR 19.50 LACHS and finally a fillet steak at EUR 28.50. FILETSTEAK Please check out the photos that show how perfectly the dishes were served despite high use. Everything was dressed and fried. Also very well tuned. We were all happy with the food. Unfortunately, the delivery of drinks was not so perfect. Besides, there was a help? It's hard to understand German. Well, fair time."

"Schon lange wollte ich ins Green Lion, da ich schon viel über die "Superfood"-Gerichte gehört hatte. Doch ich muss zugeben, dass das Essen eher unspektakulär war. Wenn man selbst gerne gesundes kocht, wird man hier nicht mit besonderen Innovationen überrascht. Um möglichst viel zu probieren, teilten wir uns zu zweit eine Vegan Bowl, bestellten dazu Roast Beef und Süßkartoffel Fries. Die Vegan Bowl war lecker nur leider war es zu viel Dressing.. Bei dem Roast Beef hatte ich leider kein großes Glück und mein Stück war sehr sehnig aber auf den gewünschten Garpunkt zubereitet. Die Süßkartoffel (welche hier natürlich im Ofen zubereitet werden) waren sehr lecker, insbesondere mit der frischen Guacamole. Als Nachspeise testeten wir den Cheesecake und das Cookie Dough. Der Cheesecake sieht deutlich saftiger aus als er ist. Man schmeckt/spürt die Konsistenz des Proteinpulvers, jedoch muss man hier kein schlechtes Gewissen haben ein Stück Käsekuchen zu essen ;-) Dennoch kann man ihn auch saftiger zubereiten. Vom Cookie Dough waren wir sehr enttäuscht, da es nach Hummus mit Zimt schmeckte..Alles in allem ist das Green Lion eine gute Alternative zu all den ungesünderen Gerichten, welche man sonst in der Stadt bekommt. Daher bin ich froh, dass dieser Trend zum gesunden und bewussten Essen hier aufgegriffen wird und eine breitere Masse anspricht. Ich sehe allerdings noch Potenzial, was die Kreativität und Zubereitung der Gerichte anbelangt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sympatisch!"
