"After our home restaurant in thetzenbach has stopped, we are still looking for another restaurant near the good food and that could be our home restaurant. it shouldn't be too far away. now in februar 2016 was tested in the lions in Ober-Roden, in which I hosted about a week before, but we announced a table for 4 people for a Sunday afternoon by phone. as it turned out, this was also appropriate. at the arrival we were greeted by the son of the house, who also learned hotel and restaurant businessman and referred to the table we respected. a pleasant conversation was made immediately and it was immediately asked for the drinks. a bottle of Franconian red wine-akolon from the wine-growing chair was ordered at €21.50 and a bottle of mineral water at €4.20 and for me as a driver a black beer at €2.20. the drinks were delivered quickly in the menu run. after all agreed, the following was ordered: 1 times small nail suppe at 3.60 € 2 times supplement salat at 3.50 € 2 times each rumpsteak 200gr. with honey and bratkartoffels for 19,50 € 1 times pork in creamy sauce with mushrooms and croquettes at 14,50 € 1 times post-changes (2 pieces) with parmesan cheese, in tomato sauce, with rösti for the tasty grains there was still table: 1 times chocolate sachet with vanilla malis. the presupposition was ok, but not stunning, the supplement salate ok. the rumpsteaks delicate, juicy and beautiful medium dressed. the sniffy and the bratkartoffeln nicely fried with speculation and swirling. the black medaillons (3 pieces) with cream sauce excellent in taste. a medaillon was a bit firm after my dear wife had been raised. she could not handle it and the rest was full to take. the two brief exchange carvings for me were first class, the sose evocative in taste. the two tables (the latter were not on the map) were in order. the service was beautiful and attentive, without being intrusive. the environment is kept in warm brown tones and cozy. further is visible from the homepage of the restaurant. the price-performance ratio is absolutely consistent. biergarten is available, as well as in the upper floor a large room for installation. all in all, the restaurant can be fully recommended. it could be our home restaurant, let's see."
