"It seems to be a hangout for families around the area. Pleasant cozy tables on one side, a more active bar on the other. Played cardboard crack for the first time. Order dinner from the specials and the regular menu. Full cocktail bar. Good drinks. Beer and cider on tap. Nice selection. The staff was great! Owner was so nice. Great food. Good mood. Would be a regular place if I lived in the area. Onion rings had to die! Fried pierogi was also fantastic."

"Ordered the Phat Koprow w tofu and the Khao Soi w rib. Both were flavorful and aromatic. Portions were on the smaller end, level of spice and amount of oil was on the higher end, and so were the prices, but overall was worth the one-time occasion. Dine-in service was the quickest and most helpful (in regards to informing us ab the menu) I've experienced at Oberlin. Good food and even better service. We left satisfied and happy."

"This place is fantastic without a doubt, the best food in Oberlin and a wonderful wait staff! The scallops are delicious and better than anyone I ever had in Boston, the seafood capital of the east coast. Brad is a phenomenal cook and a real master. They were from Scallops when I returned after my first visit and ordered the Mignon file. I was not too excited to choose it instead of the scallops, but it ended as one of the best steaks I've ever eaten, a beautiful, delicate cut, beautifully spiced and cooked rarely to perfection. Brad's selection of spices is excellent and unlike several restaurants in the area is nothing about salted (thanks! . Treat yourself a good meal and give The Corner Joint a try!"

"Here is a place with great food, great decor (especially since the new remodeling is completed), great people and great fun. Parking is very close to the restaurant. I enjoy the plate where my food came. Looks like some stoneware. Very cool. The building as a whole is a great improvement over the old building. Very well done. You also have seasonal events here as well as breakfast with Santa. There was even to stroke. I would recommend eating here for special occasions, but not regularly. The problem I had was not really reflecting the costs. It's kind of expensive for what you actually get. Example I ordered French toast w/ fruit for my children. They both got a piece of toast and what looked like a big strawberry chopped. Again a nice place to eat once in a while for special occasions, but your wallet (and probably your belly) will complain afterwards."

"the vegan options I tried at bingo are delicious. my favorite is the tiger Tofu-Lunch-Special; I order sweet soup in place of the non-vegan suppe that comes with him. the owner is friendly and will best try to fulfill my needs. I have seen her work very hard as she tries to make for a short staff because of covid, etc. the dining atmosphere is stylish and cozy. bingo is the perfect place in the inner city of oberlin, where you can relax and enjoy a pot with comforting hot green tea along with their delicious vegan meal."

"We were looking for somewhere to eat tonight, and randomly stumbled across The Arb. Had no idea it had opened up in Oberlin, but we absolutely loved it! We had the Philly, chicken salad on a croissant, crab salad on sourdough, and build your salad, and it all was delicious! It traveled well back to our home, about 10 minutes away, too. Sometimes salads can be disappointing, but the ingredients they used, were fresh, and distributed throughout the salad in a way that made sure you weren't left with a pile of lonely greens at the end. We will definitely be back and will recommend The Arb to everyone we meet!"

"My family and I visited Black River Cafe for the first time at Labor Day. We arrived at 12 o'clock... we were sitting at 12:30 o'clock... That may wait a bit, but we gave him some patience because that is WAS Labor Day and it WAS a college town. Fast forward. We ordered coffee.... Coffee alone was worth waiting. Delicious, rich, little to no citrus undertones, and very deep taste. Just what the doctor ordered! I ordered the bagel and ox with one side of hash (just to taste the hash and have some left for my brothers, brothers ordered three egg omelet and a three pancake stack (big guys and proud of it! ... The bagel and the ox came with (please prepare for a delicious all bagel, cream cheese, the best smoked onions, I had a lot of red onion. I calm down like me.... The hash was excellent and had tasted delicious peppers and onions, in which I came out to eat first.... Now the pancakes.... I wouldn't exaggerate by saying that every pancake at least 1/2 inch thick, moist, fluffy and die for... I believe my brothers began to hate the fact that they were not allowed to beat a girl, how often my fork stiehlthily made his way to her stack o' pancake... Was the service a little slow? Yeah... were people nice, the food delicious, coffee cake hot and fresh? Yes... I sung her praise and allocation time to make another 20 minutes drive for this same experience very soon."
