"that was our fourth Bavarian cuisine restaurant experience in our current 10-day bar in Bavaria, and it was probably the most tasty and best worth it. I had curry chips, a pork with maize flakes coated, pan fried and then served with a sweet curry/fruit sauce. my wife had the oettingen schnitzel, a kind of schnitzelschnabel blue. both were very pleasant, but the fact that my wife was always over the table to dip her fries into my curry sauce will tell them which of us made the better choice. both entrees were served with a tasty starter salad, which was very appreciated after so many meat/carb heavy Bavarian dishes. we wanted to try the house desserts, but we both were too full. the total bill with a glass beer/wine was a shadow over 33 euro; quite the tasty for two simple but tasty meals. oettingen in bayern is certainly from the main tourist route, but they are close, they will not go wrong at the choice of this place for a beautiful hearty meal."
