"The restaurant is located in the upper town of Orlamündes, something hidden. A narrow, slightly small passage leads to the cozy beer garden. From here you have an almost stunning view over the Saale Valley. For about three generations in family hands, a successful, grounded gastronomy. We were very pleasantly inspired by the granddaughter. Delicious Thuringian cuisine, with a regional (alcohol-free) beer and the day is saved! The whole beer garden is shaded by a well-supported old ash (south position). You feel like sitting under a vineyard. From the Ballustrade you can see some underlying terrace gardens far into the Saale Valley. There is also a cake plate with a range of small pieces of self-baked cake, from which my partner has long warned. She would have enjoyed it as a child with the grandfather! The servant assured us that this cake plate would really be a tradition. We haven't been there for the last time!"
