"Was passing through Parkersburg at lunchtime, so I thought I'd try this place out. The place is T I N Y, but don't let that deter you. If you're more than two people, it's going to be cozy. I decided to eat in my car since it was lunch time. Based on the rating, I was OK with the 10 minute wait. After all, it's one guy. Honestly the best gyro I've had, and best falafel I've had. Wow. Veggies were cool and crispy and seasoned well, the pita was charred lightly from thegrill, and that sauce was just fantastic. Heavy on the dill and spices. Falafels were warm, crunchy and heavily seasoned...SO good. He didn't skimp on them either.. The little crumbles of feta were a nice touch. Just all around great interms of texture and flavors. Gyro King indeed! I WILL be coming back here."

"Excellent Hibachi Essen. It is only to be noted that this place does not make the typical food sitting in front of you. This is a more traditional restaurant with only tables and stands. The food was absolutely amazing. I ate a lot with other Hibachi restaurants. There is a large menu with many non-hibachi or sushi options if you are not in that. A very good place to eat and the staff was super friendly and took care of us while we were there. Do not expect your food to be made before you or you will be disappointed."

"The food was great! We ate an hour for my birthday at Red Lobster. The only negative was I had a free desert coupon and couldn't find it in my email. So the waitress wouldn't recognize it. She said I had to download the app. But ppl around us got dessert and sang too. I come to my birthday every year. I never ask for dessert and our 2 dinners total 80.00 ! We had a pleasant time, but next year we go to Olive Garden. A lot cheaper and can get a dessert! Of course, the next day I found the email with the free dessert."

"We had such a great meal! My husband and I were visiting my home town and only had two hours to see them. We decided lunch made the most sense. When my dad recommended Applebee's. I thought he had lost his mind. A chain restaurant? I'm so glad he mentioned it. The service was great. The food was all hot, fresh, and correct. The server made great recommendations and everything went so well. We won't hesitate to go back to this location. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed it."

"My husband and I went out to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The service was very slow and the food was even worse. We both ordered the special, a Delmonico ribeye steak. My husband ordered his steak medium and came out rare/medium rare. Our server never came back and checked on us or to check how our food was. Finally he came back and we told him our steaks weren’t cooked right and asked to speak to the manager. The manager came over and agreed that the steaks weren’t cooked right and said sorry and walked away. We paid full price for something that wasn’t cooked right or edible with no offer to remake or discount our food. Very disappointing night for a special occasion. We will never be back."

"The chicken curry at this restaurant in Parkersburg is truly outstanding, especially considering the price and portion size. It was so delicious that I had to update my review. I also agree with another review I read about the atmosphere, which is top-notch in Parkersburg. The lighting and music (jazz, piano, easy listening) create a great ambiance, and even when the dining room is full, it never feels too loud. While I usually stick to veggie sushi, I highly recommend trying the ochinika roll (pickled radish) for anyone looking for a new sushi experience. This restaurant has become my favorite in town, thanks to their consistently exceptional curry dishes."

"Last night I had the Friday night 3 course special that changed every week. Three courses start with a mushroom Bruschetta that was excellent. The main course was a spaghetti-based pesto completely different from what I had before. It contained potatoes and green beans, a ricotta cheese with a trace of lemon...not sound “quite right” However: This is the best main course I had in every restaurant in the state. Absolutely fantastic. The dessert was a yogurt cheesecake thing that was also excellent. Here is the deal of this food beats everything in the “fancy places” I have eaten in around Parkersburg and Charleston, where I also lived for 7 years. The decor in Rubiis cannot be “elegant” but the food blows away the other local restaurants.... (oh and the prices are extremely reasonable for the value). Personally, this becomes a regular Friday evening stop for the special. Either my wife or I had it three times. Yes, the service ordering system and food delivery is strange, and sometimes disjoined, but the food is “wow. ‘"

"eating was good as usual. I have to try the filet medaillen comes with rice and two sides delicious. service could have been better. sa with empty glasses for the half of our meal. server not where to be found and never brought us condiments and such when he was asked to be delivered as a food. update: I would have said something, but as I said that no server could be found, no manager table checks in any of the section in which I was, no one was to tell about my experience, so if they had responded to my review texas roadhouse maybe they had to read the whole thing, where there was no one to complain that manager did what their work would have done and table checks would have done that. it is their task to ensure good food good customer service and a friendly atmosphere, it is not my task to chase them again, the eating was great, but the service sucked. many thanks to texas roadhouse for their answer, but I feel that their answer only proved how the customer service does not on par."

"The service was awesome, our waiter was funny attentive and personable, and even though the food took a little longer than normal, it was still fantastic. Everything was as ordered even though my mom and I both had special requests for our meals. We even ate outside on the patio for the first time because they were kind of busy inside, and it was a really clean and relaxing atmosphere."

"The chef in the back of the house was fantastic as well as our waitress it all started with her because I have a handicap brother who has dietary restrictions and needs his food pureed and I normally have a blender with me but I needed an electric outlet and I had asked her about it and she told me that she would talk to the staff in the back and the chef came out within 5 minutes and he sat down beside of us and you know asked me what I was needing and and I told him and he told me that he could do it he thought because they had a blender and he was very attentive he wanted to you know definitely do this for us and make sure that he got it right he was super joyful about it he actually went above and beyond anything that we've ever experienced anywhere and then he told us that my brother's meal was going to be for free and he had only ordered we had just ordered the the veggie Hibachi I guess but was just going to have them you know make it up back there for him and we thought they did not have to do that I mean we was not expecting a free meal I just wanted to be able to puree his food so he could sit there and eat with us you know out of the nice restaurant and the place definitely went above and beyond anything that they had to do the chef did and just because of that it's a place that we would definitely go back to even though it's just a little pricey I wish that I knew this guy's name in all honesty I guess he was just an amazing person really it was really nice Dietary restrictions: My brother requires a pureed diet and I carry a small blender with me to use. I had asked our waitress about being able to use electric outlet to do so and she said sure and then said but let me talk to our chef in back and i think we can prob help. Chef came out and talked with us and was amazing he did what we needed for my brothers entrée and it looked appealing. He also made sure that Dave (my brother) enjoyed it and that we were sure it was what we needed it to be for him. He went above and beyond Wheelchair accessibility: They were very accommodating in making sure we were comfortable getting to the hibachi grill with my handicap brother. And he absolutely loved it."

"That's the biggest pizza I've ever had. Thickness and thin crust are both delicious. Cheese and peppers are excellent. It can be a bit on the more expensive side, but it is worth the price and while the pizza is fat, that makes it just the more amazing. Every time my family comes to town, it's the place where they want to eat. After writing this review, I have to get something now."

"Food was good, tried the buffet. If you are paying in cash be sure to pay attention when your change is being returned as it could be a little short. Perhaps the register does not give the total amount owed back to the customer. I left it alone as I planned on leaving a tip anyway when I was done. Since my change back was off by four dollars I did not leave a tip on the table upon completion of my lunch. Restaurant was clean and comfortable."

"was very disappointed by my experience. I ordered the garnelen alfredo and the garnels was gumy and tasted too old to be even served and an hour after eating I threw on a parking after experiencing magen cramps the size of texas and my friend ordered the huhn alfredo and the shun tasted like no one harassed to clean what they wow up and was disgusting. the only thing that was good was the big bowl salate on our table. to say our first experience with olive garden was disgusting and a waste of our gelding"

"full müll. have to wait 15 minutes to be sitting and where only 6 tables are used! they sat us from a huge table where they sit for a party. the floors where terrible, because they do not clean regularly. we have made a simple order. comes out wrong and cold. does not come back completely and again the big table was not yet there. Finally we go to pay and a waitress says someone will be in a short time with them. bob. evans should ask you how everything was from the cassian who turned out to be a terrible man who was the manager. where, as if they weren't asking about our experience, we had advised how was it? he threw him what happened, didn't want anything free ursache could tap the waitress without the card. he was like nope on us and goes on to say that the Huve table has simply appeared without warning, I said why they would lie as we have observed to put the table together. then he starts screaming at me because he pays for your food. my wife had to get me out before there was a bigger scene."

"I brought my friend to eat, I told her how good their spaghetti were. So we ordered spaghetti and meatballs the dishes came in the contemporary way when we went to cut our meatballs, they were frozen so naturally we sent the waitress back and bring us new dishes and they were hot. but someone has made the recipe since the last time I was there and had spaghetti because the spaghetti sauce was tasteless blande the meatballs were not bad after they cooked them, but the whole dish was terrible and when the cash register asked how our evening was I told her it was not good, and she smiled and said I did it so sorry for her not to believe"

"The service was good and when I left, it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant itself is bright and colourful. The menu is quite typical of a Mexican restaurant. The food is very expensive and so are the drinks. The food tasted good and was nicely prepared. It wasn't as hot as I liked, but that was good and nothing to beat. I wish there was a little more cheese in the Taco, but it was still delicious. The Tamaleen and Enchiladas tasted great. I loved it that there was a way to have cheese on the Burritos, but I didn't know it was an extra cost, but it's worth it. The margaritas are good. The Pina Colada was made of a mix, but I thought it tasted good. I also had the mango that almost tasted like a fresh mango. I also got dessert and was very happy with it. It tasted great. I have the banana that had covered a ball of ice cream slices of bananas and strawberries with chocolate and caramel sauce. There were also Dessert Tortilla chips covered in cinnamon. The chips are similar to the bowl come in some deep fried ice creams. The dessert was probably my favorite part, just because it was something new I didn't have before. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I just wish there were more seafood options and dishes with actual crabs in them. A blue crab meat Chimichanga would be brilliant. But besides my desire for more seafood, so place was worth the visit and time. I want to come back while I'm in this area to enjoy more of the delicious food and drinks."

"Very disappointed Monday 12-13-21 ordered pitcher of margaritas rocks no salt... Pitcher came to us half frozen half on rocks. TRY to pour a frozen margarita out of a pitcher full of ice. Ordered loaded queso. Was very good but ran out of chips and couldn't find ANYONE to get more. They were all gathered at a tv watching football! I literally had to knock stuff off table to get anyone's attention."
