"First time to Pensacola beach and had luck finding Crabs on the beach! The island is OPEN like the wonderful shops and restaurants! Visit now a unique short holiday without crowds and lines! Food quality: 8.5 out of 10. The crab legs were super fresh and delicious! I ordered Dungeness and the meat was sweet as advertised! However, we have lost some points on maize and potatoes that were excessively “mushy” (for all intentions and purposes). But the crab is the right winner here! My wife also enjoyed the Baja fish tacos. The chips were a bit too salty for us, and be careful the pepper on the Baja Tacos is quite sharp! Also ordered the key lime cake, which was a perfect balance of sweet and tart! Price/Quantity/Quality: 8.5 out of 10. $35.99 for 1.25 lbs of Dungeness crab legs was a little high for our expectation, but seems fair compared to competing menus. Fish tacos were sufficient in the amount, but were $17.99, which also seemed about 10-20% higher than what we expected to pay. But the key cake has not been disappointed! Our server blessed us with a healthy piece and we enjoyed it for dinner and breakfast the next day! Customer service: 10 out of 10. We were immediately welcomed and well looked after! Glen was our server and held a friendly and meaningful dialogue with us all night. He knew the menu at the front and back and made us feel like eating for all restaurants during such a difficult time. We definitely appreciated each other, thanks Glen! Cleanliness: 5 out of 10. Although the facility was well kept, we were very surprised not to see a single employee wearing masks. Not sure what the state/local mandates are, but there were about 10 employees (and many cartridges) without masks. What we expected half, but it made us a little restless during dinner. Lucky for us, Glen wore his mask with us after his first greeting. Total: 8 out of 10! This was a super fun restaurant with satisfying food. We are quite relaxed with our Covid-19 expectations, which is why we travel from the state and dine to the first place, but Crabs On The Beach was one of eleven restaurants (over several states last week) that we have experienced and this was the only without masks. But it was interesting because the two gift shops we visited next door had employees and mouses with masks. So we respect Crabs On The Beach, but Glen was our favorite reason for eating in!"
