"This is a lunch place. So you visited the San Francisco plantation and it is lunch time. Where to eat? You are driving west on river road, and about a quarter mile, you see an old gas station, with a small cloth sign Buddy B's. Pickup trucks parked everywhere. Guys and gals I refinery worker jumpsuits milling around. You have arrived! Inside is a nice clean space. No fears! The people you see are the engineers and managers of the local refineries out for lunch. Head on in. The menu is on the wall. If you are really hungry, go for the giant burger. It is one full pound of meat! The plate is smaller than the patty! My local colleagues had the spaghetti and meatballs. I had the kajun Klub sandwich with slaw and kajun fries. For less that $10 I was stuffed. The staff is delightful and friendly. Remember, you are in southern Louisiana, you will be properly addressed as Sweets, Love, Darling, Honey, etc. enjoy it! Not be missed! This ain't no McDonald's!"
