"We ate here most evenings as part of a two-week holiday with Thomson. As half-board guests, each day we got starter/soup, buffet salad, a choice of 3 main courses, and dessert. Everything we had was delicious, and service in the cosy restaurant was friendly and efficient. The choices were usually between a traditional Bavarian dish, a less Bavarian alternative, and a vegetarian option. There were also Italian and Bavarian buffet nights which were excellent. Our 13-year old reasonably fussy eaters loved all the food too - mostly the Bavarian choices. On one night each when they didn't like what was on offer, they could default to the children's menu with no fuss and had plenty of choice. Our one frustration was the common local practice of charging for tap water - €5 per litre in this case, which might be a shock to UK and Irish visitors."
