"I was really hungry, so I decided to order a large pizza, wings, and a side of mac and cheese with penne pasta. The pizza was delicious, although they forgot to make it half and half sauce. The wings were amazing! However, the mac and cheese was disappointing. It could have been good if it had more sauce. I'm not sure if they ran out of sauce or if that's just how they make it. It was very dry. I also realized that my pizza was a bit lacking in sauce, but overall it was still tasty and I would recommend it. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try their red sauce, which I heard has won awards for their traditional pizzas. The staff was excellent and very friendly."

"This restaurant experience was absolutely terrible. I ordered food during my lunch break and the owner was incredibly rude, accusing me of being picky about my food when all I wanted was something edible. They promised to give me a replacement but purposely made it wrong and then yelled at me, saying it's only $8.00, before hanging up. I used to visit this establishment 3+ times a week, but I will not tolerate being treated so disrespectfully."

"my partner and I have made reservations for an early dinner at the bach. there are not so many vegan options, but all we have ordered was fresh and made with seasonal fruit and vegetables. for a starter we had the novo lettuce wraps with tofu. I liked how it was served like a self-built packaging. the tofu was light, crispy and well seasoned, and there were three different sauces to immerse the package. we ordered the chow novo and the vegan version of thai red curry. the chow novo was not amusing, but the red curry was the best curry I ever had. it had exactly the right amount of seasoned and cocos milk with sweet and tangy anaslese to compensate all the aromes. but the most memorable part of our dinner was the chocolate caronut. not lying. the combination of chocolate and fresh fruit was a life-changing experience for me! although novo is on the pricy side, the whole evening meal was worth every penny. updated by previous review on 2021-07-10"

"Mistura has become one of our favorite dinner destinations in Downtown SLO! It is one of those rare restaurants that somehow manages to create meals that are visually stunning to look at, delicious to eat, and most importantly nutritious. This is not an easy trick to pull off here on the Central Coast, where sandwiches/pizza/tacos reign supreme! This particular meal was extra special because Mistura helped us celebrate my birthday with a complimentary Arroz Chaufa. We paid an up charge to add perfectly grilled, Peruvian spiced shrimp, which is definitely the best way to enjoy that particular staple dish. We paired it with the Nikkei sushi roll that we've been wanting to sample, made with Peruvian Paiche white fish and plantains. Also yum! We paired all of this with a perfectly crafted Pisco Sour (see image)! Finally, we always save room for dessert because Mistura's in-house pastry chef is second to none. This time we savored a mouse crafted to look like a rose!"

"The restaurant was busy and vibrant with a live band playing. Service was amazing and very attentive. The food was ok- not really mind blowing for the price. Great birthday celebration!"

"Amazing! I'm glad we found you! We moved to the area and were seriously looking for an upscale Mexican restaurant with amazing food and Margaritas La Esquina is it! We knew the moment the chips and salsa came with our amazing margaritas where we were for a fantastic meal. You didn't disappoint. The waiting staff was very friendly and has done an excellent job to ask questions from us before it was recommended and their suggestions were on site. We'll be back again and again! Thank you."

"4.5 stars. Finally got to dine in. Let’s get to it. Like the decor and plaza area. We had meatball spaghetti. Tasty meatball seasoned well and large portion. The kids had gnoche? Our finicky teen liked it. Chicken Alfredo was tasty according to the other teen. Margarita pizza was a nice fill in. If you have an appetite this is a place to dine in."

"I made my order online it was very easy! I wasn't from the area I was looking for a good meal before I came back on the street. I didn't want fast food meals so I was so happy that I found this place because the food was delicious! Very recommended! I will definitely come back!"

"What was usually a pleasurable meal, fell short tonight. When I got home, we opened our boxes to the wrong order… expecting chicken tacos and getting potato tacos. Sorry, to the guy behind me. The usual happy and helpful lady at the counter wasn’t taking, and if she did, no one could hear her. I probably said “excuse me?” 4 times. Got to do better."

"the atmosphere is very casual and on a hot day, it is hot inside because there is no air conditioning, it is only open to the outside. we ordered the spring rolls that were really delicious and came with two different sauces, both good. the black bohnenburger was less than impressive. it was very dry. the brot and the patty were both dry. charged $2 for a few slices of avocado are added. the chili was very delicious. be careful if they serve the suppening with cheese, unless otherwise specified. I really liked the Veggie podium, but it had a little bite in what was not my favorite, so I brought it out. the regular and sweet potato fryers were delicious. hibiscus tee was also good. we got the fertilizer without whip for the desert, but that was really disappointing. it was super watery and not crispy at all. it tasted like a water-sweet."

"After a long drive from LAX, we were exhausted and very hungry. It was late when we reached Hollister, so we decided to find something to eat on the way since restaurants were closing soon. That's when we stumbled upon Jewels of India. The restaurant is located in a quiet and peaceful area. We ordered vegetarian food, which was surprisingly good compared to Indian vegetarian options in San Diego. However, we were taken aback when we were asked to pay a reservation fee because we didn't book a table in advance. When we offered to make a reservation online at that moment, we were still told we would have to pay extra. It seemed odd to us that we had to pay additional charges just because we didn't make a reservation beforehand."

"Extremely delicious gyro before I went there I was not sure if I was in the mood to eat meat, but after I took my takeout to Lake Lagoon, I knew it was the right choice. I usually get the gyro sandwich, but the plate is so much better as you choose the amount of meat and toppings you put in your packaging. By far the best gyro I had here in Slo. I highly recommend getting the plate and going somewhere nice to enjoy it. There are many great places to sit and eat outside. It really made me a difference."

"This was easily the best Prad Ka Pow dish I have ever had and it was actually SPICY! They were not lying if you like food with a kick, then I definitely recommend. The tofu was a great consistency not sharp and too crispy but not soft either, nice and semi-firm. Four stars because they do not know how to handle the high demand for their food. It took 42 minutes for this to reach the table and thankfully since I was dining alone I was able to be seated ASAP. Other people waited 30+ minutes to be seated and just as long for their food. It was definitely worth the wait, but just be aware. Oh, and steamed vegetables were nothing special just what they claim to be but definitely complemented the spicy green beans."

"Omigod! Lemme tell you about this place..... My husband and I love to try new places when we are out and about doing errands and decided that for lunch we would eat fancy Italian . We get here and we are asked if we wanted to sit indoors or outdoors.... always choose outdoors. Their patio is hidden behind the restaurant and it is beautiful, they have heaters around the patio and if you get too hot they will turn it off for you, at least they did for us when we went. The service? Wonderful! Our glass was never empty and the server was the nicest guy who gave the BEST recommendations. The food was obviously made with love, despite being full we had to have more and ordered a dessert. Overall, if you want authentic Italian food that taste like heaven I 10/10 recommend this place."

"As a crispy Taco lover I loved San Luis Taqueria. The Carne asada taco came with driven Parmesan cheese on the outside, interesting. Good taste with the green salsa added. Very light and crispy. I give 5 stars because I would eat it again. The person I ate with there is a 3 because there is too much sauce on the al pastor and Carne asada street tacos. The first taco fell to the end and the 2. was all soggy, also it did not feel much taste. We both liked the outdoor terrace seat, right on the lively street with shops, bars and people. I think this place is ADA friendly. The chairs and tables are movable. No stairs and the door was open. They order at the bar and sit and wait until they deliver the food to your table."

"Worst meal ever. We were a party of 4 celebrating the anniversary of a business venture. We are locals and have been to the Granada before; I had been there about 1 week prior and had a wonderful meal with great service. So much so that I recommended The Bistro as the place for our celebration now regretfully and I am embarrassed that I picked this as our dining option. The cocktails and appetizers were nice we got the fried Shishito Peppers. On Wednesday they offer 1/2 price bottles of wine (a surprising perk that we found out about when we got there) and had a bottle of white with dinner. We ordered salads. I got the Beet and Bleu Cheese on Arugula; the greens were wilted and pushed around as if they ran out of lettuce, chunks of beets, and a smidge of bleu cheese meh. The Ceasar Salad was good. We all ordered the Sea Bass. Awful. The tiniest piece of fish ever, one minuscule potato, and one person's sad little potato was burnt. We ordered two sides of green beans to share; mine tasted fishy, fishy green beans...yuck, disgusting I didn't finish them. Unpalatable. We didn't complain at that time, but we should have sent it all back. We ordered dessert; the 15 Minute Brownie (hard to go wrong with a brownie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream) and after dinner drinks. The wait staff is great and the ambiance is lovely, but that is only part of why we were there. We expected decent entrees, not the sadness that was served. Waking up the next morning I thought more about it; I was so offended by the terrible entrees, and the $400 bill that came along with it, that I called and reported how bad it was to a manager who was very sympathetic. I was assured that a General Manager would ring me back, but it has been two days and crickets."

"One of our 'Must Stop ' places when visiting, or just traveling through SLO. Louisa 's is only open for Breakfast and lunch, and they get PACKED! This is a local favorite and it shows. Indoor seating is limited, but they have a counter you can sit at, if that 's your thing. Or if weather permitting, you can sit out front at one of the tables. (There are only about 3 of them. We usually just wait for an indoor table. Wait times will vary by how busy they are. We 've waited up to an hour before getting in for a table. So get there EARLY! The staff is always friendly and attentive. Prices are good and they don 't skimp on portion size."

"Their food is delicious and the portions are huge! Scrambles omelets are made with 4 eggs, and could easily be shared or be divided into 2 meals. My kiddo loved the big, fluffy pancakes, and my husband is always a fan of their chorizo. Lots of outdoor seating, beautiful views of cerro san luis, and very friendly staff.Food: 5/5"
