"Solid down to earth spot-especially for a traditional Wisconsin fish fry. Great prices. Food: spot on. The 3 pc fried cod was one of the best in MKE. Perfectly balanced-not too heavy and a little crispy. Fries were nice and crisp. Best rye bread with a fry I’ve had. Service: Pretty slow but understandably since they were in the weeds. Don’t come here looking for city-speed service. It would be nice if their paychecks included a QR code to pay. Otherwise, there’s a long URL you have to type in manually to look at your check. Atmosphere: it’s a quaint bar inside. Wisconsin feels for sure. There’s a patio just off the Main Street. It’s fairly serene especially during the sun set. Definitely worth a visit for a fish fry and old fashioned."

"Just go here. Liked everything about it. Busy enough to know the food is good. Remodeled for comfort instead of jamming people in. They even have a kids area. But the service and food were excellent. The waitress had several tables but our service and conversation with her was like we were her only customers and I'm sure her other customers felt the same. The meat lover skillet looked fabulous at 1st glance, though maybe a bit small. After starting in on it, it was the best skillet I've had in a restaurant with different levels of surprises within and I ended up barely finishing it. Just Go Here!"
