"nice little gem. good food. we had the bacon burger sloppy joe tomato bisque and apple pie. It was all really good. Big portions. The tomato bisque was house made and really good. They had an eclectic menu that was a good variety. I would definitely eat here again."

"*WE DID NOT GET TO TRY THEIR ICE CREAM. THIS IS A REVIEW OF THEIR RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE * Their hours are stated on the front of the business as being open until 9:30PM and only four days a week. We were camping in the area and promised our kids that we would go for dessert and get ice cream. We went at 8:30PM and parked in front. An older lady was closing the door and turning off the open sign. My wife asked if they were still open and she said no. My wife asked about the hours posted and the lady rudely said, Well not when we are running out of ice cream . No, sorry we ran out please come again, or any apology. Just an angry lady who by her own statement, had ice cream they were just running low. Needless to say our kids were disappointed and because of their weird days open we did not go back. We went to the gas station and got them ice cream, probably cheaper and just as good to them. I would not go back due to the angry woman's rude response to a legitimate question."

"We had a wonderful weekend at the Mountain Village. Everything we ordered over the 4 day span was great. The prime rib was awesome! The drinks were generously poured! Our server, John, was above par. He is great and I would request him time and time again!"

"We enjoy eating here but the last few weeks they have been closed on random days. We've gone up there 5 different times now and they're just randomly closed. The food has also been inconsistent. One day they have a certain type of fry, hushpuppies etc and the next day it's totally different. I wish they would be somewhat consistent, with the food and hours."

"I ordered our food to go since we had our pup we weren't sure about dining outside with the weather getting cooler. The service upon pick-up was top-notch. There was always something keep me posted almost every 5 min. on the status of my order and they went the extra mile to keep our ice cream separate so that I could store it in my cooler. The food was fantastic and I was a HUGE fan of their bowl. It was simply a bowl of healthy ingredients with fabulous flavors. I hope to one day go back there and dine at the restaurant with the gorgeous view of the Sawtooths."

"Came in May, so not a lot open in town yet and this place was hopping...a school bus was just leaving so we did decide to try it out. Full of locals drinking beer from their cups on the shelf. Staff friendly and helpful with our questions about the menu and drinks. We ordered a veggie pizza with dairy free cheese. It was good. Great service. Would absolutely eat here again when in the area."

"This must be the best place in Stanley to get a Burger Fris menu that is delicious and offers one of the affordable options for the area. The Pound Angus Burger is amazing and full of great taste. Even if we ate it, mouth is more salivated. We'll come back when we're in the area and find a good burger. Customer service was also really great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with every request. Child and took time to talk to you. The place has a big local feeling. Our only complaint is that they were very shameful on the Pommes. We would have liked to have had more, they definitely gave less pommes with their meal than any place we were in this area. Would make for a perfect meal if this one thing was adjusted! Other than eating his a great place and would highly recommend it."

"I have a Cajun chicken sandwich in Stanley and I'm sorry to say, but I won't do it again soon. The chicken was very dry and small and seemed to have a funny taste. I have done this there and have been all the possibilities great, but not this time. You don't seem to have good reviews here, and I can see why the food isn't worth the money. I'm sorry. "Stopped here for a quick lunch as it’s conveniently located off of 29. The food was good and service was fast. The manager could have been more professional when I double checked to confirm that I was only picking up my order as there were 3 bags and I thought 2 numbers were called. She said, “well, if you’re the one here with 2 kids then that’s your order.” Yeah…I didn’t want to take someone else’s food, and your bags don’t really look like kid bags at first glance. Another customer understood what I was asking and explained, though."

"I am blown away at how magnificent this food was. The salad was extremely refreshing. I don’t like vinaigrette dressings, but I’ll be having dreams about this salad. It was the Spring salad. And then I had the fried chicken plate and shared it with my mom, the chicken was so tender and juicy!!! The mashed potatoes and carrots … I’m saying everything was delicious! Shoot forget about KFC and Popeyes. The sourdough bread was incredible, we got some to take home for the road as well. This restaurant will now be a regular place for me to eat when I come out here with my hiking friends or family. The service was great. Highly recommend."

"I just left this place and this was the worst pizza I've ever had. I'm so upset for the waste of money and the fact that now I can't have anything else for dinner. The dough was under cooked which made the cheese inedible because it just flowed off the pizza with the unnecessary amount of cheese. And the pizza was so wet on top. Not from grease it was WET. If you like olives, don't get them from here, they taste awful. Very upset this was my first time here and it was a very sad experience."

"If the food sucks, you would still be happy because the people inside will only treat you properly. The kicker is, the food is bomber good. Both breakfast pies rocked(quiche like creation, but no quiche. I think you even had wheat free when that's your kind. A blueberry muffin, a rhabarb, dasity-do and a simply cooled enough to frost cinnamon roll (for the road the sampling was rounded off for us. Everything was great, there are no more crumbs. A solid choice to eat. If I don't return, it's just because it's 5 hours away for me, but I'll try."
