"Found this place after scrolling through yelp, could not decide between sushi, ramen, or this restaurant. Nonetheless, what got me interested in this establishment was the surprising name, Chicken Meets Rice. Quite attention grabbing. This place is located in a mini food court next to the 99 Ranch Market. The manager, Jonathan, was kind and nice enough to explain and accommodate our requests to our order. What we had ordered: 1 Split Protein Box: Fried Chicken, Tofu,Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Broth, and Sweet Chili and Teriyaki Sauce. 2 Grilled Chicken Box, Sticky Rice, Veggie Broth, Teriyaki and Sweet Chili Sauce. My friend and I enjoyed every bite of our meals. The concept of chicken and rice issimple, but the flavors were so delicious and flavorful. Super healthy with protein and a medley of vegetables with the rice. The broths were a good palate cleanser and not salty at all. I had not eaten the entire day, so I was superpleased that this was my first meal of the day! Would love to come here again! :"

"Love the noodles here. I always get the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup with large flat noodles and the popcorn chicken.Noodles have great texture and the soup tastes really good with a bit of the chili oil at the table added.I also really like the flavor and crispiness of the popcorn chicken though I wish had less tiny pieces and more normal sized pieces.Food comes out pretty fast too"

"We got the Aqui sampler . It was good. I liked the Hummus. Black bean dip was okay-ish. Their chips are baked not fried (that’s what I heard). We got California Enchiladas. I did not quite like it. I liked the outside seating though!"

"I went to dinner with my kids and the waiter had a bad attitude and a bad look! The payment amount by swiping the card was $46.76! Give a 2 yuan cash tip! Two days later, I discovered that the amount on my credit card bill had actually become $51.77! This store will automatically charge 15% of the tip amount!"

"The sanitary conditions in the restaurant make me worried as the plastic bowls and spoons look like they have been used for thousands of years without their original white color(which has become black). I found there was non-washed food in both bowls. The food has already dried on it. When the food was brought to the table, the mutton and chicken offal tasted very un-fresh and smelled bad. The worst thing is the spicy hotpot. The food tasted terrible. The traditional dish MALATANG hot spicy pot is different from other Chinese restaurants. It is all vegetable and tastes like pig food(Taste just like vegetables in a little spicy water). when I asked them why they didn't explain initially it is different from the traditional MALATANG spicy hot spot(name is MALATANG), they said they are a BBQ restaurant and their spicy hot pot is just like this. The vegetables tasted very bitter, I was wondering if they didn’t wash the vegetables so we could taste the pesticide., or if the vegetables had already rotten and they didn’t take out the rotten parts. I got a diarrhea at home few hours later. The restaurant never wash their dishes before they give them to the next customers and don’t wash their vegetables. I will never go to this restaurant again."

"Pelicana is my absolute favorite Korean Fried Chicken spot! The Half order of the boneless chicken with Signature sauce will feed minimum 2 people! The portion size is definitely pretty big for what you pay for. Ofc you cant forget the Peli Shaken Fries!! I dont know what they put in it but the taste is addicting! Must try for sure!"

"Waitresses were very nice. Ordered few filled mignons, aged porter house with Alaskan king crabs. We ordered some salads but it was nothing special, definitely not worth the price. The food arrived late, started to wonder if they had gone to Alaska to get my crabs. When it arrived it was very dry and luke warm at best. Steaks were good but I probably can find a better place for the price. Left little disappointed."

"I got the Dalgona Milk Tea, 50% sweet, less ice and it was a tad too sweet. However, if you have a sweet tooth definitely give this drink a try! The store is sort of in a awkward location, but the employees seemed nice! This was my first time at Babo Boba, so I plan to try a few other drinks before making a final decision."
