"Home of the 1/2 lb burgers. Locally owned, veteran operated bar and grill with a rustic, laid back feel with a large outdoor patio and tiki bar. Menu offers an assortment of burgers, wings, tacos, dogs, salads, sandwiches and more. Full service bar serves up a line of brews, mixed drinks and frozen cocktails. My Surfside Bacon Cheeseburger was a sizable, juicy patty with caramelized onions, bacon, cheddar cheese and Muscadine Wine sauce on a toasted bun. The sauce was brought on the side and wasn’t much to my liking. But the burger was. No asking where’s the beef. You will find it here. A little rare in the middle, which I prefer. My choice of side was the Island Slaw which was a chunkier, thicker sweet slaw that I couldn’t get enough of. Ryan, our server, was on his game and brought personality and punctuality. Food came quick, hot and a side of humor on his part. Enjoyable experience."
