"Visited this place on a recommendation. Excellent quiet small very high end Italian restaurant specializing in some of the more unusual dishes. Bread is served with garlic and spices (Oregano, basil, red pepper), which are soaked in olive oil. Several seafood selection and veal is also served. Had the lasagna and it must have been 10 layers. Cream Brulee was the best I had for years. Bring your wallet, but it's worth it."

"We just had an amazing 21st Anniversary dinner here! First off, the place is beautiful, clean and very spacious with just the right lighting for a romantic setting. We were greeted with smiles and directed to a table right when we walked in, followed by our waitress asking us what we wanted to drink. They have a very impressive menu of whiskeys, wines, mixed drinks and also many beers. We ordered 2 appetizers, bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with cheese and duck drizzled with house made ranch and also the lobster and shrimp dip which was a nice cheesy fluffy dip that you spread on crouton style crackers. Both were amazing! For our main course we went with their French dip and a mushroom Swiss burger. Both were very delicious. The quality of their food is 10 star in my opinion and head and shoulders above any other restaurant in Texarkana, very happy to have tried this gem!"

"The best Mexican food ever! The lady at the counter was helpful and funny to speak, many people ordered and went, the place has a great atmosphere. I have surfing and Turf Burrito and it was HUGE and the flavors were on point! The chicken quesadilla of my mother was also gigantic and super delicious. We also enjoyed the horchata and hibiscus tea. The prices are great, especially for the huge portions."

"My husband had the chicken fried steak with onion rings and thought it was all really good. It comes with plenty of gravy, so no need to ask for extra like you do at most other restaurants. I orfered fried fish with fries and coleslaw. The fish was perfect, and I really enjoyed the coleslaw. Great food for a reasonable price."

"We went here for lunch on Tuesday June 28. My date had a gluten free pepperoni pizza and I had a BBQ pork sandwich on flat bread. The food was very good. But the best part was our waitress, Alana. She was just amazing and wonderful. So kind and helpful and served us with professionalism and a smile. She went beyond to help my date with her gluten free choices. If you go try to get there early as it fills up for lunch quickly."

"I’ve eaten at Texas Roadhouse quite often in the past and really enjoyed my meal last night my husband and myself went to Texarkana to and although the service was excellent the steaks were lacking both of our rib eyes were over cooked yams the rolls were not up to par as before. Be a while before we go back. Haven’t completely ruled them out yet"

"The first time. Was not sure how it would compare with other burger connections. Overall it was excellent. I had the Double Diablo Burger and it was spicy and delicious. My wife has the Big Dill and she said it was one of the better burgers she had. For a national chain, this place tasted like a ma and pa Burger joint. She had sweet potatoes and I'm not usually a fan, but they were fresh and tasty. She also had the Texas Pecan Shake. While it was thick and overly sweet, don't let me take how delicious it was. It's a little expensive. Our meal was over $30, but I came full and filled. Try to see if we're back in the area.*Update* Still love this place. Updated a few pictures to give the amount of food they give."

"Our first visit, but certainly not our last one! The food (Ribeye Steak, twice baked potatoes, grilled asparagus) was excellent and generous portions! Because it was our first visit, the waitress brought out a free sample of her famous cancer giants who were “for dying”! The service could not have been better, working with smiles from everyone there and a super waitress!! Loved the place with its outdoor feeling and rustic decor!! We arrived at 6:00 and only a few people were there, at 6:30 the place was full! Can't wait back!"

"What stands out the most is that their meat actually has flavor! My family has loved this chain for decades, and as we’ve gone around the country and tried other BBQ we’ve realized that Big Jake’s is our go-to. Other restaurants focus on their sauce to add flavor and moisture to the meat, while Big Jake’s meat is honestly good by itself. Speaking of sauces, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Each has their own selling point but they are all excellent. The complimentary beans are also great!"

"Just a little over priced. Our waitress was a little bored and not as friendly as another table’s service. The food was fresh, but the fries had a sweet taste. The feed store is no nonsense and helpful. It’s a shame the cafe isn’t open on the weekend, when people are out doing stuff. But the cafe serves the regulars who are making a pit stop for their feed store run."

"Looking for a great tasting Mexican Joint Loca Luna off Richmond Road is a great stop. There are an extensive number of options to choose from to Burritos, enchiladas, rancheros and much more. Serving staff is very friendly and very professional and efficient. I have a seafood allergy and they took all the steps to prepare my food to not turn off my allergic reaction. It is cozy with a number of seats and we are maintained and clean. The food is wonderful. I have two steak and chicken Burritos with white Queso and their Verde sauce. I'm usually not a fan of Versauce, but this has the right heat and tango that really has the white Queso and the big mouth of the meat inside. The rice was on site. Soft, but not muddy. Overall, this is an excellent place for Mexican food and your time."

"Looking for something besides the same ol’ same and saw this on Google. I went by the reviews and they were spot on! This place was delicious. Super fresh and hot. Collard greens.. somebody’s gonna get slapped! Red beans and rice, crawfish étouffée, fried fish, coleslaw.. all so very favorable. You must stop in! Small place, big taste!"

"I had the lean brisket plate (which was really good and loved the spicy bbq on it). It came with 2 sides so I had it with Mac and cheese (I love all Mac and cheese, but this was very unique and amazing it was almost like having desert as it was rich and kind of sweet). My other side was potato salad which was really good as well. My husband had the fatty brisket plate (which he said was one of the best briskets that he has had). He had the twice backed potatoes and said that they were okay. He also had the coleslaw and said that it was okay as well. The prices were pretty good and the animals and decor was very interesting and quit amusing. We would definitely stop by again when in the area."

"This was our first time to go here as we were in the area of work, and this place has really good food and a great atmosphere. They say the ribs are world-famous, but I prefer Texas Roadhouses better. I know Texas Roadhouses is baby back and these are replacements, but if you like this really heavy smoke taste than you like this place better. Also the pages were great. Love the frits and roasted Okra."

"WOW! I've always been a frequent customer when I craved a good spud. I haven't been there in a while. I was amazed at the improvements in customer service and food quality. I received curb side order with a menu by the sweetest man. When I pulled around to get my order, I was met by a smiling lady that repeated my order and was absolutely the sweetest. When I got my order home and sat down to eat, I was in awe that my potato was overloaded with fillings and perfectly made to my request. Great job Potato Patch!"
