"I have visited this restaurant multiple times since my first review, and it continues to offer the best value for food quality. However, I have noticed a slight increase in prices for lunch ($9.99 to $10.59) and dinner ($14.99 to $15.59), which is still very reasonable. The best part is that they still offer free tea! They have also improved the interior lighting by using softer LED lights instead of the bright white ones.
I recently visited ANNEX for the lunch buffet ($9.99) with my wife, despite hearing mixed reviews. The buffet prices are very affordable, with lunch at $9.99 and dinner at $14.99. The atmosphere is not very large but clean, with newly renovated bathrooms. I believe warmer LED lighting would enhance the coziness of the restaurant, as the current white LED lights are too bright.
The food selection was good when we visited at 1 o'clock. The Hibachi and Sushi Bars were open and looked fresh, while other buffet items were fresh, aromatic, and hot. The soups were hot and well-seasoned. The salad, fruit, and dessert bars were okay, although they seemed a bit chaotic with children serving themselves.
The staff was friendly and okay during our visit, which is always a plus. We live only 20 minutes away, so we plan to come back soon. The free tea and welcoming prices are definitely a plus. Despite the challenges of COVID-related price increases, the management has done a great job of maintaining taste and freshness. I appreciate their efforts and response to reviews, which is why I am giving them 5 stars."
