"After reading mixed reviews, my wife and I decided to give this restaurant a try as a potential option for her mother's birthday dinner. The restaurant was impressive overall, although slightly pricey compared to other upscale steakhouses. The service was attentive, and when we requested to be seated in the main dining area instead of the bar, the staff promptly accommodated us. The lobster bisque was flavorful, although lacking in lobster chunks. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly with a "Mediterranean" seasoning, and the onion rings were crispy and not greasy. The Chilean seabass was well-prepared and delicious. The only downside was that we had to ask for more butter for the bread basket. The lava cake, while a bit small and dry when shared, was still tasty. The ambiance was pleasant and the background noise was appropriate. We were surprised to see a service charge added to the bill when paying with a credit card. Overall, it was a good dining experience, although not quite as exceptional as Roots in my opinion. I would consider returning in the future."
